Give Skelton an offseason and some game plan where the game doesn't all fall on his shoulders. In the 4th quarter he was 15-25 204 yards and almost 3 TDs. We didn't even attempt to have a running game today either...I think he will be a good QB but is going to need the offseason badly. He almost brought us back from the dead but Doucet fell, which is crazy....i'm so bummed but I think we keep developing Skelton and get a real OC.

her fast one, shipping a QB out for five times his actual value.[/quote]

I was rabidly against the Kolb deal before it was made...

I am not claiming to be a soothsayer but, even before the trade, it really took a lot of blind faith to buy into Kolb being a franchise QB. The stats and the results made a strong case that he was a backup QB for a reason and that ol Andy was pulling another fast one, shipping a QB out for five times his actual value.

If Reid really thought Kolb was a franchise QB that could take a team to a Superbowl with a QB who has put in a good number of yrs already and style which is conducive to injury, would he have shipped him off so fast? Makes you wonder. I wish we would have just taken Vince Young, looked for a 1st round QB this yr (only if a good match was there), we'd also still have our 2nd and DRC. That said I think he can be an average QB but top 10 less likely.

Vick was a FA that was going to be franchised. Kolb was on the last year of his deal going into the season (if he wasn't traded). They had to make a choice because you can't pay 2 QBs franchise money.

Kolb may never live up the hype but the grand conspiracy that the Eagles had no faith in Kolb is flat out FALSE
