I thought after Ribeiro tied it late in the 3rd period, the Coyotes were going to win this game. They had some good chances early in overtime but just couldn't score. A point is better than nothing.

Tough loss, but still have home ice advantage with the 4 seed in the conference.

We had no right to earn a point in that game. Flat all around and Tipp warned them all the day before according to Vrby. :bang:

Was nice to see KT get pushed around like a rag doll. That face-wash from Doan was sweet. He still looked pretty good, dammit. The kid has skill, just has an entitlement problem.

They will have to pick it up if they don't want to get embarrassed in Anaheim.

Coyotes lose in a shootout to Anaheim. Even though they got a point, they should of won this game but the Ducks scored on a fluke goal with two minutes left in the third period.

What a shootout goal by Ribeiro, though. With him and Vrbata, they should be able to win some shootouts this season.

Not if Smith lets them in like he did last night. One of the bigger problems last year was losing too many shootouts.

Smith must have been focusing too much on his offensive game lately.

Coyotes score four goals in the third period, two by Ribeiro and one by goalie Smith as they beat Detroit 5-2. Always nice when they beat the Red Wings.

What a game, instant classic. Despite the conference change, it's always nice to sweep the Wings.

Ribeiro is heating up as he scored twice tonight as the Coyotes beat Calgary 4-2. This is the 7th straight game the Coyotes have gotten at least one point and their second consecutive win.

Brutal game last night as the Kings jumped on the Yotes for 4 goals in the first 17 minutes or so. Smith was pulled for Greiss. The Yotes came all the way back to tie it at 4-4 in the 3rd, until a terrible turnover on the PP gave the Kings a SH goal. Yotes had all the momentum and that killed it. They lost 7-4 after an empty-netter was added. The Yotes were really rocking in the 2nd and 1st half of the 3rd periods, but that TO and SH goal really ended things.

Crazy game against the Oilers this afternoon but the Coyotes score back-to-back power play goals by Yandle & OEL in the 3rd period to comeback and win 5-4.

I really hope Tippett plays Stone more, he has shown he can play. I am not a big fan of Schlemko.

I like Schlemko fine. I don't like Yandle, but that is mainly because he is a sloppy defenseman. I would replace Yandle with Stone. Perhaps move Yandle to the 2nd or 3rd forward line. I would like to see what the Coyotes could get for Yandle, but I realize that would be a tough sell to the fans. He is a favorite, but I am not sure why. His TOs are terrible, but the broadcast team never calls him on it. He is a fast, fluid skater. And he seems to have an offensive bent. But he is a weak link as far as pure defense goes. In my opinion, of course.

I wish he could serve it after the LA game tonight - he is needed there. That is a tough break for the team - he has been playing well. I remember him going to the box, but I didn't think the hit warranted a suspension. Although I have not looked at a replay. Good luck tonight Coyotes. And, as always,

BEAT LA!!!!

Coyotes beast the Predators 5-4 in a shootout. Greiss was shaky in the first (3 goals, 3-0 after the 1st period), but settled down nicely, and he was fantastic in the shootout (5 shooters, no goals). Boedker got the lone shootout goal.

Coyotes beat Vancouver in a shootout to record their fifth straight win. Vancouver had three chances to win in the shootout but could not get it by Smith.
