The yotes can do themselves a big favor in the next game - they are a point behind MN, equal games left and play this weekend

Hopefully jobing.com is packed and rocking for the 'yotes .... would be huge to leapfrog them, especially as the Wild are on a bit of a skid

Saturday will be a huge game for sure.

I'm still not sure what to think about the scratches of Ribs and D-mo for two games in a row. Big message being sent by coach, I guess.

I just hope it motivates! Hard to argue with results so far, but we will need both of those guys if we really want to make a run.

We just picked up 5 out of a possible 6 points on this past road trip. I would say we are "making the run" right now.
I don't know if we're better or worse with those guys in the line-up... However, with regard to Ribiero, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that he's been a disappointment... I trust Tip. He's got his fingers firmly on the pulse of this team.

Brutal loss tonight to the Wild, 3-1 with an empty netter. Bad loss with Dallas playing well. Wild HAD been slumping. Ribeiro was back in the lineup. I thought the rule was to never mess with a winning lineup...

Moss was injured.

I miss the days when we could win close games and shut down the other team once we had a lead.

Kind of crazy when it appears that the fans care more than the team. Lazy, uninspired play. Should have beat up on the Jets, given that the Jets had just played the night before (crushing late loss to Anaheim) and that Dallas had just destroyed Washington on the road to move into the 8th spot and shove the Coyotes out. Instead, a lackluster performance ends in a 1-0 shootout loss (1-1). Even an overtime PP, 4 on 3, and nothing. Yikes. Going gently into that good night?

I can't put my finger on one thing, but this team is just off compared to any other under Tip. Still time to get on track, but even my rose-colored glasses are fogging up.

Agreed. He has got to be pretty upset.

Well, last nights game was a very good example of a playoff team vs a non-playoff team.

Outworked at every level.

The Yotes not only crapped the bed, they peed in the pillow cases and vomited on the duvet covers.

:bang:

Another heart breaker tonight. There have been a lot of painful losses lately but this one is like a kick to the gut. Had the victory and give it up in the last minute. Then we cant net a single goal in SO. Horrible...

They Yotes will need to be tied (or 3 more points) with Dallas going into the final game. As of now, Dallas has 5 more ROW's than the Yotes.

The outlook is very bleak at the moment.

That beeping sound you hear is the Coyotes and the Stars trying to back into the 8th and final wild card spot. The team who can suck the least gets a date with probably either the Ducks or the Blues.

If you ever wanted to make a moon shot bet in Vegas, the dogs are your team for the Cup. :koolaid:

Brutal loss last night in Nashville, 2-0. Greiss has been soft (game in Columbus was terrible), no doubt, but this team just cannot score. And yet there is still a chance after 6 straight losses. Go figure.

Crappy way for the season to end. The Coyotes had their chances.

The Kings are probably the luckiest team in the history of hockey.

I would of thought NY could put up a good fight, but alas. Not likely to string 4 back to back against a cruising LA team.

I guess our division isn't getting any easier. :thud:

As much as it pains me to say it, 2 Cups in 3 years tells me they're earning those bounces.
