Not helping the cause by roughing up SJ the other night. Need a strong loss tonight in Calgary. :koolaid:

What happens if they both end up with 56 points?

Tie Breaking Procedure
If two or more clubs are tied in points during the regular season, the standing of the clubs is determined in the following order:
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the Shootout (NEW for 2010-11). This figure is reflected in the ROW column.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

AZ 56 points- 19 ROW- 169 GF -265 GA
Buffalo 54 points - 15 ROW - 159 GF - 268 GA

So we win, which means we lose. :bang::bang::bang:

Buffalo wins the tie breaker. Essentially, Buffalo has to reach 57 points in order for the Yotes to get the first overall.

It's pretty much set at this point, which is fine. Eichel is a generational type player.

True, but there is still a lottery to contend with. We could fall to the 3rd pick and I highly doubt Jack is still around by then.

Oh crap. I completely forgot about the lottery.

Agree, Eichel will be gone.

Ok, we're holding up our end of the bargain by losing to the Canucks.

Buffalo needs to win at least one and go to OT in another in their remaining two games.

We then have to lose Saturday vs. the Ducks to secure one of McDavid or Eichel.

That's a lot of stars to align. :help:

Buffalo didn't even make it interesting.

29th place it is and we'll find out Saturday what our first pick is. If anyone besides us or Buffalo wins the lottery, we will pick third.
