Can't believe we won in a shootout. Flyers NEVER win when it comes down to a SO. Good game tonight gang.

Hahahaha suck it Toronto.

Evidently OEL's short hander was the fastest ever to start a period.

LOL, puckhead. No shade intended fam. Believe me. I'm in the doldrums right now with the Flyers, Sixers and Phillies all terrible. This is but a brief respite.

No sweat. The therapist says I'm doing great. I'm feeling much better now. ;)

That was terrific. 114 footer.

Best comment I've seen yet was a Leafs fan who thought the team needed to clear the front of the net better so Bernier could see the puck easier.

Split the weekend in Canada 1-1. Back to work tonight against Columbus to finish the road trip and back home Thursday.

Messing with the tank by winning in Columbus yesterday. Back in Glendale tomorrow night.

Lost to Canes in OT.

Detroit's in town tomorrow night, should be a packed house since it's their only trip to the valley. Even with the tank on, I'd still love to see the transplants go home complaining about how the ref's screwed them again.

Put up a good fight, but Detroit made the most of their opportunities and we didn't. Tank on.

Dogs beat the Hawks in SO. Smith with the big stick slam on the last save. :clapping:

Uninspired play against the Avs for a 5-2 loss. The race to the basement is on.

Trade deadline is quickly approaching. I'm sure GMDM is fielding a lot of phone calls right now.

Vermette and Michalek are probably out of here. Not sure anyone else has played well enough to create interest.

I hope they hold on to Yandle and OEL unless someone offers the moon and give Doan the option to go if he wants. He's earned the option to make a cup run before he totally runs out of gas.

I agree on all counts except for Yandle. I would try to get something for him while he still has value - and he can take Tyson Nash with him.
I hope Vermette stays (who else is going to win a faceoff?), but he has a lot of value for playoff teams, so I would understand trying to sell him high and getting some decent assets.

Another brutal loss (4-3 to the Rangers at MSG) in a string of them. The Yotes seem to only play for the first period lately. They were up 3-1 after the first. It appears that they have a decent game plan to start, and then everyone just says forget that after the first...

Pretty good deal and it would be nice if they could also get a 2015 first for michalek

OEL is going nowhere ... The guys above are free agents at the end of the year .... Other situated guys could move, but probably not huge returns

Yandle is the wild card. He could go if they get a strong offer, just not sure if he can draw an offer strong enough

Strong haul for Yandle. Also nice to see the coyotes absorb some serious money to sweeten the trading pot.

If they can get a 2015 first for Michalek and a little lotto luck their system should be very strong with some money for free agents as well

Well, tickets for the rest of the season should be cheap.

Be there as the Coyotes aim for the #1 pick!

They were out of realistic playoff contention right after the season started ... just a bad year from the start ... Would love for them to get the #1 pick this year, aside from a deep playoff run it's the best possible outcome

Michalek to the Blues.

Also gave up a conditional 3rd in the deal for Maxim Letunov, the Blues 2nd round pick last year.

He's an offensive center, 19, tall kid but skinny. Leading the USHL in points and attending Boston University next year..... Needs to add strength and complete his game, but the type of player the coyotes need

Reported the conditional pick may be insurance if Michalek can't get back from injury. They are also retaining half of his salary

The two Sabre/Coyote matchups left this year are going to be epic.

Both teams are competing to sign a new goalie just for those games.
