this game could impact them going into Game 4. They just spent a TON of energy in a game they basically got killed in. That's bad news for a quick turnaround on Thursday.
and Pop is able to take out Parker/Duncan with FIVE minutes left in the game and likely won't have to put them back in, while Miami gets heavy, HEAVY minutes for pretty much all of their starters.
I think Miami probably wins Game 4. There's no way the Spurs shoot 217% again in the first half next game, but the amount of heavy minutes here doesn't bode well for them in the long run.

You'll see Pops coast on a whole game, relying on his bench and clutch players. Lebron had to get it on from the get tonight, no Bosh draining 3s, no Wade penitrating and dishing, and Lebron didn't pull the Michael Jordan. He looked tired to by the second half, and with next game's start time, the heart better be enough because the up and down the court is running some soft Miami into the ground.Agreed. Though, hard to believe Leonard will even come close to this performance on Thursday.

i'll be shocked if the Heat lose the next game. They pretty much never lose back to back games, their roles players are due for a good game, there's no way the Spurs shoot that well again and Game 4 is basically the entire series for them if they lose. I just don't see the 2 time champs going out that easy. LeBron probably has another game for the ages and they squeak out another one.
This sucker goes 7. The teams are just too good to expect anything else.
Holy crap is that tonight?
God they so do not deserve this team what a joke. The Heat are right in this game
I saw it posted by a radio show on my cousin's feed. Looked into it and although it was presented as today's game - I had to do a Google image search to get to the bottom of it - it is from Game 6 last year when fans flooded out before the Heat came back to tie it up and eventually win it in OT.
Okay, I'll bite: How is that worse than Lakers fans who routinely show up half an hour late?
IDK. Those fans are pathetic too, IMHO.
I just can't wrap my head around paying for an event and then not getting your money's worth/entertainment value. It would be like paying to see a movie and leaving with 20 minutes left...

My wife and I always get to a game early and we're literally the last to leave the building. Never understood arriving late or leaving early. My dad always used to take me to NBA games when I was a kid and then say we had to leave midway through the 4th quarter - "to beat traffic." I swore that when I was older I'd never leave early. Have seen plenty of great finishes because of this mindset.

You're right. The people who do that make it sound more like an obligation than a . . . sport. An evening of entertainment.Exactly the way I think. Why an I going to pay for an event and leave early for traffic? You know that coming in don't let that crap ruin your night. I don't get those people

That's like leaving an Eagles concert before they do Hotel California (the best rock'n'roll song of all time).
Oooh, that should elicit some opinions.

I think Lakers fans are late because of traffic not apathy. in LA there are times where it almost doesn't matter how early you leave, you're going to be late.
Yeah, my wife and I live in the Los Angeles area, and if she's not on time for a job, she doesn't get hired back. So I'm not buying that. Sure, it might take four hours to go 10 miles, but if that's the way it is and you want to be there on time, budget five hours.
It's sort of like snow in Minneapolis. You have to plug it into every estimate you make about how long something is going to take. You'll notice that people in the twin cities never use snow as an excuse. Those in Los Angeles should take the same attitude toward traffic.
Having said that, I never drive into the city (from 35 miles east) if I can possibly help it, because even if you luck out and make decent time coming in, it's nearly impossible to get out. Going to a two-hour concert is easily a nine- or ten-hour time commitment. It's just not worth it. I can literally drive to Phoenix and back in as much time as a round trip to Santa Monica.
