Is anybody following this feud between Durant/Westbrook and Reggie Jackson? OKC lost to Detroit and the superstars are complaining that Jackson celebrated the win.

Sounds like a couple of sore losers, no matter how badly their breakup was last season.

Have you seen the clip? I thought the same thing up until I saw what he did.

He runs around waiving his arms in the air... okay... that is fine, then he stares down their bench for about 10 seconds while waiving his arms in the air, probably a little out of line... then as Detroit is setting up to shoot free throws he is yelling at the Thunder to "Get out" over and over again. It was pretty over the top.

And what does he hate the Thunder so much for anyway? I realize he demanded to be a starter, they had Westbrook, so they traded him. Seems rather accommodating.

He's just upset that he didn't get the other Morris as a new teammate.

And he forced them to trade him when he refused to enter a game even though the team was down multiple players. Plus, Westbrook's response wasn't much more than an acknowledgement that he thought the celebration was classless.

Seriously, how much did Detroit and Jackson prove by struggling to win at home against a team playing on the second night of a back to back and doing so without one of the top players in the NBA (Durant was out)? Very bush league move by a bush league player. Even worse than the unnecessary celebration last night by Randle who will undoubtedly be fined for his actions.

Ah, well, can't blame him. Sadly God only saw fit for the Morrii to be twins when the world begs for, at the minimum, octuplets.

Knight and Bledsoe for Irving and Frye or Shumpert works under the cap.

Bledsoe and Tucker for just Irving. Then Knight, Goodwin and a combination or our later or future picks for Gay and Sac's pick (#8)

Not sure I would do this, maybe I would simply because Kyrie is still very young and it reduces out backcourt jam.

If Booker reverts to being a good shooter, Bledsoe is a better partner than Irving.

Irving and Knight are very similar and they are the same age (24) so I'm not sure if those type of trades help much.

a stunning development! :)

meanwhile, I just looked at Brooklyn's starting lineup for the first time. WOW. We will definitely have to lose out to keep that 3rd pick.

I guess it will be Suns East. ;)

I agree the Suns will likely need to lose out although the Nets swept the Suns in the regular season if that means anything in a tie.

A huge problem for the Suns is that they are still playing to win or it at least it looks like it.

they really shouldn't be. Booker and Len have gotten PLENTY of run to develop and Chandler is old. Any victories right now will be purely pyrrhic in nature at this point.

It's hard to figure. Watson has convinced the Suns to play hard every game because they are building for next season. Tyson Chandler has taken the Suns under his wing. He is playing well and he hopes to get the Suns team together in the off season at his place in California to further build the team. It's contradictory to tell the players to lay down now.

Watson can vary the lineups playing players like Alan Williams and John Jenkins which may help in terms of win/losses. Also Watson plans to start Archie Goodwin at PG.

So far the Suns have failed to sit key players like Chandler, Booker or Teletovic (off the bench). Even sitting Ronnie Price would help. We agree, the Suns need to do what needs to be done unless Ryan McDonough does not see the draft board the way we see it.

You can't sit Booker, I don't think the league or the players union would like that at all. The same is probably true of Teletovic as he's a free agent. Chandler we can sit but we've been doing that off and on for a couple of months now. I think it's time to put him down for good (in a humane way) and I'd ASK Mizra if he'd like to take a break but that's about all you can do IMO. Instruct Watson to give good looks to Williams, Jenkins and Goodwin and hope for the best.

It is 4 games and Teletovic wants to re-sign here apparently.

Nobody in the league or players union would care if a player rests for the 4 remaining games, free agent or not.

Booker resting is not an option. He could still win Rookie of the Month April with a strong finish, catch Durant on that 30+ games as a teenager list and so on.

Maybe. I don't really know. I just know that I'd prefer to avoid another black eye if we can help it. To be safe, some communication with agent and player might be necessary before just shutting him down.
