I can't see the Bulls even entertaining an offer for Butler from Minnesota without at least Wiggins being involved.

I dont like Wiggins, but there is no way that the Twolves should entertain that. They have a good young core going on and Butler is almost a decade older than their key guys.

Also we don't know enough about Butlers knee issues.

A Wiggins/Butler swap would be a steal for Minnesota if the knees are sound.

I don't see it. Butlers numbers are about the same as Bledsoes. Allstar but not super star. What do you think Bledsoe would be worth?

Butler 20.9ppg 5.3rpg 4.8apg 1.6spg 0.6bpg 36.9mpg 46.2%FG 31.2%3s 83.2%FT 21.3PER
Bledsoe 20.4ppg 4.0rpg 6.1apg 2.0spg 0.6bpg 34.2mpg 45.3%FG 37.2%3s 80.2%FT 20.0PER

Bledsoe ranked 10th of 85 among PGs in defensive RPM.
Butler raned 12th of 97 among SGs in defensive RPM.

Bledsoe is 3 months younger.

I like Butler but I don't see him in that superstar category so even if his knee checks out there is no way I would deal Wiggins for him with the potential Wiggins still has and the control over a rookie contract for the next 6 years at least.

Man, think how much more impact this trade would have had if they'd held off until tomorrow! What a lost opportunity.

Those names sound made up.

How many games have Bledsoe and Butler missed the last years? I'll find out. You forgot to include that statistic.

| Season | Bledsoe | Butler |
| 2012-2013 | 76 | 82 |
| 2013-2014 | 43 | 67 |
| 2014-2015 | 81 | 65 |
| 2015-2016 | 31 | 67 |

Vertical Sources: NBA has informed all 30 teams that the projected salary cap will rise to $94M for 2016-'17 season. Higher expected $92M.

NBA agent just told me: "Expect some funky trades at the deadline and funky waiver claims so that teams get to $84.6 million salary floor."

Capspace is worth next to nothing because everyone has huge amounts of capspace except for 2-3 teams.

Knight and Bledsoe are going to be bargains once you see guys like Biyombo, J.Lin, Barnes sign for more.

Bahaha no bigger team cancer than someone who purposefully tries to break up teammates' romantic relationships. Russell does it gleefully. Get the fak away!

I wonder if Golden State's loss makes a pursuit of Durant more likely. He would now be joining a team that has "unfinished business."

Why not Cleveland? Love is probably gone, and James may be ready to start fading back a bit, since this run had to take a lot out of him.

Not sure they want that much Nike in such a small market. (James, Irving and Durant)

What are the odds Lebron opts out and comes to PHX to cement his best player ever status by leading three teams to championships????

I saw this on my Twitter Feed and couldn't help but chuckle. I wonder how many Golden State fans these days actually get the reference.
