I wouldn't go that far. :D

I was paying him a compliment in a round about way.

Well, yeah, the same compliment I was. Except I'm also willing to admit that I can't stand the guy but the only reason I'd export him is to keep him from kicking our butts.

Giannis is a franchise player now.

He has the complete package.

Oh boy. If this is legit, it's another setback for Embiid. Misses his first 2 years, minutes restriction when he finally can play and still develops a knee issue? Big men with lower body issues are such risky propositions.

And Ben Simmons is out as well. I do not know what to make of the 76ers but they make a good argument for changing the lottery.

They played him with a torn meniscus. The FO there is taking a lot of heat right now. Even Embiid has been critical of them.

The same Embiid who did everything he could to manipulate them into playing him more minutes than the restriction not to mention going public to try and force them into letting him back on the court for the Houston game? He also tried to hide the extent of the pain when he hyper-extended his knee, not once but twice.

I don't know where all the blame should be placed, some of it has to fall at the feet of Scott O'Neill but since he's pretty much bulletproof, it will probably be blamed on BC and JC. And some fans will continue to extol the genius of Hinkie, the man who really left them this mess. And from all reports, Hinkie would have made this situation even worse as it was his intention to draft Ingram over Simmons. Not that we really know how that will play out.

I can't believe a player did everything he could to get back on the court seeing as they're paid to compete. It's the staff job to differentiate the two. If Eric Bledsoe goes down with a knee injury do you think they're letting him go back in regardless of what he says to them?

I don't know if Hinkie wanted Ingram but it's rumored he wanted Porzingis but ownership was scared off because he wouldn't workout for them.

I agree, the Portland decision and the regular extended play is on the coach and the medical staff and the Houston decision is probably on O'Neill. But I meant that in the context of Embiid's instant reaction towards the front office. I think you bear a little responsibility for it when you do what Joel did and thought he owed it to them to support them rather than point fingers, at least initially.

It's amazing how much power cast-offs wield after they've been let go by teams that want nothing to do with them.
