Yep. The Suns have done it with Chandler and Knight. Now the Lakers with Mozgov. If I am the league office, I do not like this. Teams should be trying to win games. It really messes up playoff seeding and playoff races when some teams are trying to win and some aren't. Your chances really depend upon your schedule toward the end of the year.

Not sure what to do about it, but tanking is not good for the league, especially when it is this blatant. I think that maybe limiting the number of top picks. Say no more than 1 number 1 pick every five years, and no top 3 picks two years in a row. At least perpetual tanking would be limited and there would be less teams doing it.

Have they? You don't think it's clear that they are a better team without the two? Arguably, Chandler could help but Knight is an easy call, we'd already demonstrated earlier in the season that we play better without him. And it's never been considered tanking to rest your really old guys when the season is functionally over.

Knicks Won't Fire Jeff Hornacek
The New York Knicks don't plan on firing Jeff Hornacek this offseason.

The Knicks have struggled this season and Phil Jackson reversed Hornacek's offense to re-emphasize the triangle.

The Knicks have had four head coaches during Jackson's three-year tenure.

Even Kristaps Porzingis classified the offense’s travails as causing “confusion.’

I don't know that I've ever seen a more difficult and creative assist than the bounce pass between Cory Joseph's legs last night by Westbrook. It might be the most dangerous, foolhardy, sure to get you benched by a pre-90's Coach pass I've ever seen too. But who cares, it was hilarious, it was successful and it should make highlight shows for as long as they keep making sports highlight shows.

I miss hearing some of the old guys commenting, like Bill Walton and Hubie Brown etc. Suns broadcasters is all I get these days. It's okay, but it would be nice with some variation.

Gentry is all but done in NO. Team has regressed ever since he got there, and don't show any signs of getting better even with the acquisition of Cousins. He's done, and rightfully so.

I've never been a Gentry fan and I do think he's on his way out but he isn't the problem there, it's higher up. Even the best coach can't win without players and his best players have spent a lot of time on the injured list.

I think you can catch Bill Walton doing coverage in the NCAA basketball tournament but he is not one of the broadcasters I miss.

IMO, he is way over the top.

While that may be true...even when all the best players are on the floor...they don't seem to be playing near the potential of their talent. Maybe it's Gentry's fault for not adjusting to the type of players he has, or the players have given up on him. Either way...as soon as Gentry showed up...they got worse.

You should go through that list of best players. And you should look at the players they traded and let walk away. That's a bad roster when healthy and they have rarely been healthy. Maybe a good coach would get more out of them but I doubt we'd see much difference.

Well they have Anthony Davis and Cousins...two very good players that most teams don't have. And they have a losing record with both of those guys in the lineup. If I was upper management...that would be unacceptable.

I would watch any game if Bill Walton and Tom Tolbert were calling the game.
