The Celtics can have any PG in the draft and they have the Nets pick in the next draft.

I wouldn't say they are in a no win situation but the situation with IT is tricky going forward.
No it isn't. They will eventually trade IT.

If the Celtics draft a PG with the #1 pick in could get interesting especially with Marcus Smart on the roster.

Eventually the Celtics would have to trade someone.

Warriors could eclipse $260 million in spending next season
By Dan FeldmanJun 1, 2017, 12:57 PM ED

Kevin Durant is reportedly willing to accept less than a max contract next season.

That, ironically, could get very expensive for the Warriors.

Golden State would need to clear cap space to pay Durant his max – the system working as intended to limit spending. But if Durant takes less than his max, the Warriors could operate as an over-the-cap team, sign players like Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston with Bird Exceptions and spend into the stratosphere.

Just how high could Golden State’s payroll get next season? Let’s make a few assumptions:

Is that if Durant accepts less than mac deal? I've read Durant is willing to take less money to keep GS Big 4 together and GS wouldn't need to renounce anyone either. If that happens PHX might as well take its time with a rebuild because it'll take 4 maybe 5 years before Curry starts to decline. I think NBA is going to have problems with fan interest pretty soon because no one is going to want to see a GS/CLE Finals matchup for the next 3 years.

Didn't the NBA grow more in popularity during the 80's when there were 2 or 3 super teams than any other period of time?

Sad to see Bosh go out like that but it's much better than the alternative. I assume that's it in the matter of his return.

NBA Trade Rumors: Knicks reportedly interested in acquiring Wolves' Ricky Rubio
The New York Knicks could really use an upgrade at the point guard position. While most assume that will come through the NBA Draft on June 22, some in the organization are interested in pursuing a trade to land Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio, according to a report from ESPN.

Rumors at the trade deadline in February previously linked the Knicks interest with the 26-year-old Rubio in exchange for Derrick Rose. That deal, which would have been a big coup for the Knicks and was said to have been close to being completed, never got done.

But here we are again in June with a similar situation: The Knicks still need a point guard, and the Wolves still have a wealth of them.

It grew when they had stars with the charisma of MJ and Magic. They took to the league to a new level. But the stuff that MJ did that was new (athletically) is now common place.
