Baker is a cheaper version of the Honey Badger. Good player, but I don't understand the rationale of this pick at all.

And moving up, i.e. -giving up picks, to get him makes no sense!!!

Sirius NFL Network compares him to Bob Sanders and says he has the ability to play man to man corner.

Ran a 4.3 40 how does he get a 3 on speed?????
It's height/weight/speed combo so his speed might pull his size up to a total of average. Likely a 4 for both height and weight and a 1 for speed.

Swapping 10 spots and giving 2 4ths and a 6th is a lot for a slightly built 5'9" safety that cant catch

hahahaha but that's just me

68.2 points per the draft chart for this years picks is what we gave up and it was a 90 improvement moving up those 10 spots. I don't know the value of next years 4th rd pick but this years was 56.

Not to much an over pay if any at all.

Oh and I forgot the 2.8 points the 7th rd pick was that we got back. :)

like that he's a playmaker with speed.

curious though on a team with some pretty big holes on it, we're still drafting guys in round 1 and 2 that won't be starters....

Wow! Budda Baker is a 1st round talent...I'm shocked that the Seahawks took Mailk McDowell over a true baller like Budda Baker who was right under their noses in Seattle. This is a win-win, big-time. He can flip from the box and play FS, plus he is the best nickel CB in this entire draft.

This is a stunning good pick---and we didn't have to give up our 3rd rounder! We know how sacred our 3rd rounders are!

BTW---he chose #32 at Washington because of Honey Badger. I heard him say that prior to the draft.

There are some Earl Thomas like qualities in Budda Baker. He is an A tackler and is always around the ball. A+ pick at #36.

Ok Marcus Williams just came off the board at 42. The Cardinals started the Saftey run. I feel a little better about the pick now. Just don't know how they're going to use him. I guess FS. We'll see about his ball "hawkishness".

Good insurance for TM though.

Slot corner is my guess, a Honey Badger Clone.

The Cardinals like to flip their safeties---but I really think Budda will start at FS---but will be moved up from time to time to blitz the QB and cover the slot.

Baker can sit in single high, or play in the slot. Very similar to Mathieu.

Next years 4th is taken as a mid 5th this year, about 25 points. This years 6th is 12 points. It's a dead even deal by the chart.

We could have had a Hooker & a Baker in the Secondary.
