As Boldin said in the other thread. Booker/Bridges/JJ/Ayton has huuuuuge potential in spreading the court, defense, rebounding, transition speed... just need to find some sort of functional PG to put with them.

IMO Lonnie Walker is going to be a total disaster. He hits all the marks of wreckless, bad, selfish NBA guards.

Besides we already have that hairstyle.... Gotta draft based on need. :p

How many picks do we have left in the first round? 1 or 2 ? I’m confused

We're done until #31, the first pick in round 2. We had #1 and #16, traded #16 for #10, which was originally the Laker's pick we got in the Nash trade that we sent out for Knight. Mikal Bridges was already selected there.

It just seems weird. We were on the clock and Philly comes in at the last minute, seemingly desperate (but who really knows) to make a trade, and we end up giving up our best future asset?

Somehow I think we should be fleecing them, not them asking for a ton.

They don't even have a GM right now, right? Since Bryan Colangelo stepped down, some unknown guy fleeced McD.

Thank you for clarifying.:)

It's being explained this is what the Suns received for Dragic... two first round picks.

You have to wonder what it means for the Chriss/Bender project.

Bridges is darn good. He doesn't really have any weaknesses, and most importantly he can shoot.

But can Jackson and him work together as the 3 and 4? They can against a lot of teams, but not all I would think.

20/21 is supposed to be the double draft class also - which is most likely year for Miami to convey.

Well on the positive, we don't have to wait that long - but I would have thought we could have done this deal without including that pick.

Wow, you're right. That's sounds bad.

I don't put this on the player, and will root for him.

They weren't desperate - they seriously considered Smith at 10 - they just figured he's not much of a downgrade - maybe we can pick up a prime draft pick without giving up much in terms of player potential.

Ayton
Warren
Bridges
Jackson
Booker

Interesting lineup imo

Warren is fundamentally flawed. He is not a starter - all he can be is offense of the bench.

He needs to go - his weaknesses defense and shooting are the Suns biggest needs - and they are exactly what Bridges provides.

Mikal is a fantastic player. He is more complete than JJ. There are many that think he could end up being the best player in this draft. When you have a chance to get a player like that, you grab him. We could only hope that Miami pick could yield a player like this.
i'll admit i know very little about him. if you do, i'm open to an aggressive move like this

I meant 76ers were seemingly desperate.

The Spurs took Lonnie Walker. Porter went to the Nuggets.
