I meant 76ers were seemingly desperate.

The sixers got a great draft pick, for what they consider to be a small downgrade. That is not desperate.

But I will say this - the sixers have the largest collection of draft picks of like any team, they need to start focusing on quality, not quantity.

I know, but my point is, we had the cards, not them. They already made their pick, wanted Smith just about as much, and got us to give up our Miami pick at the last second.

Certainly it can be questioned but Mikal Bridges is a very talented player. I wouldn't have included the future Miami pick but I'm not the GM.

This was my thought...... Could make a reasonable case that we have two great defenders to support two sub par defenders.
