Story posting soon on ESPN: Detroit has made starting shooting guard Avery Bradley available in trade talks. Acquired in July trade with Celtics, Bradley will be a free agent this summer.

Sources: After heated verbal exchange in practice between Joakim Noah and coach Jeff Hornacek last week, the Knicks are exploring avenues to part with Noah. He has two years remaining on the four-year, $72M deal he signed in 2016.

It appears the Knicks have some problems to address.

At least there is some hope Knight may prove useful as a player and regain some of his market value with time.

If they could be lowballed I would take a flyer to see how he fits with Booker. If it doesn't work out he's a FA. Of course you still wouldn't have a legit PG and he'll cost 20+ mil a year if they want to re-sign him.

I don't think Bradley will cost 20+ mil a year. Half of it seems more realistic, IMO.

Sounds like it would be for Bradley, Harris, Marjanovic, and a first-round pick. Wonder if Suns could put together a package that doesn't involve Booker or their own first-rounder this year. Monroe is a big expiring contract, and they do have 3 extra picks they could play with. If they are sold on Jackson, they could probably include Warren. We can throw in Knight, if they insist. ;)

No thanks on trading for Avery Bradley. He is more of a SG than a PG and his contract expires after this season. The Suns could pursue him in the summer if they like him. Also this would only improve the Suns short term which will hurt their position in the draft.

Talks on the Clippers-Pistons blockbuster started six days ago, but accelerated in the past 24 hours, league sources tell ESPN. The framework of a deal had been in place since early afternoon.

Sounds like it would be for Bradley, Harris, Marjanovic, and a first-round pick.

And also a second-rounder, apparently.

But either way, this kind of deal really annoys me. Griffin could have fetched more if the Clippers had taken their time. I don't think the Suns are a good fit, but there have to be other teams out there who would have been seriously interested in him. Instead, the Pistons put out a flyer about Bradley and boom, they wind up with an All-Star PF because they happened to be in the right place at the right time.

I wish the Suns could move a contract, e.g., Monroe, Chandler or Dudley so they could facilitate a trade or get a young player for next season.

What was Doc thinking signing Blake Griffin to that max contract just to trade him midway through the first season? I'm honestly surprised they were able to dump him and get decent value back. The Pistons are a mess.

Seems to me to be a good deal from the Pistons perspective. They even got protection on the first round pick they sent out.

Bradley is just an expiring. Tobias Harris and Boban plus a protected first and a second for Blake. We could have done way better than that.

That was a foolish deal on the Clippers part. Maybe there is an injury issue. With Blake there always is.
