This is the worst 7 game series ever...

It’s a lot like the 2007-8 Celtics Cavs when it was Bron on his own against the C’s Big 3 in their first and only title season. Just a bruising series where every home game was a blowout until that epic Game 7 where Bron and Pierce went mano a mano for like 45 and 40 in a super tight W for the Celtics.

Hoping for a similarly entertaining Game 7 if the Cavs hold on here.

OMG.

I don’t care that LeBron only has 3 titles to Kobe and Duncan’s 5. He is just at a different level of ANYONE since Jordan... PERIOD.

And if he somehow wins one this year, I’d have to seriously consider if he matched that GOAT.

What this guy is doing is EPIC.

Other than checking out in 2010 and bitching out in 2011 you can’t blame him for not wining a title in any other season. He already had the longevity argument over Jordan.

Tonight was LeBron’s seventh 40 plus game in an elimination game.

Let that sink in... SEVEN times he’s faced elimation and went for over 40 POINTS.

Dude’s the King of his Era. No ifs, ands, buts about it.

It’s still mind-boggling to me that that He just curled up into the fetal position against Dallas. Such an odd performance from an All-timer.

And when you compare his stats to Kobe (something like 35% shooting and several complete disasters) when facing elimination... anyone who thinks they're in the same tier is out of their gourd.

I wasn't aware that was even a thing. Durant has a hard time making a case for top-five right now.

I know you were coming around on LeBron maybe last year or the year before... or maybe it was even earlier this playoffs, but curious where your head's on him now?

I don't think he means career debate, but for best player in the league right now. I have heard quite a few debates that KD is the better player right now and what LeBron is doing right now easily proves that to be false.

I think this is the debate between KD and Lebron. It started up last year in the Finals and a lot of people tried saying KD took the title from Lebron as the best in the world, currently, but it didn't take Lebron long to show that he's still the top guy in the NBA.

There is not much to this team that LeBron is carrying. If he wins this year, I do not know if there will have ever been a player to do so with so poor a supporting cast.

But here Boston is in the 7th game of the EC finals without its two best players. So there is that.

Lebron is sitting at #2 comfortably. The difference in responsibility between Lebron/KD is sizable. KD vs Kobe is a debate.

I’d say Dirk was the only one close.... and prob more impressive. Jayson Terry was the second best player on that Mavs team that went through the defending champ Kobe/Pau/Odom/Bynum/Phil Jackson Lakers in the 2nd round, the young but still very good Durant/Westbrook/Harden squad in the WCF and the first year of LeBron/Wade/Bosh Heatles in the Finals, beating the Lakers and Heat without HCA.

Jesus... how the hell did that Dirk go through that murderer’s row above with a team solely comprised of an older than dirt Jason Kidd, Terry, Deshawn freaking Stevenson, Tyson Chandler’s one great year, that tiny little white shooter and the ghost of Peja Stojakovuch?!

Yes

stupid people all over the media were debating that after KD got his All-Star ring...er.. I mean his championship ring last year.

Yep

How dare you disrespect Shawn Marion. He was on that team. Man that guy was so insecure about his status on a team and the league.

I believe it was Paul Shirley who ran into The Matrix at a gas station and said he found him in the back of his car watching highlights of himself.

Yeah, it was around a year or so ago. I still think he has weaknesses as a teammate, but he's in a league by himself as an individual player. He's the best one-man team of all time, except maybe for Chamberlain.

I was doing that once and a cop wrote me a ticket. Hey, it was a long trip and I was bored.

Given I don't think there even was a debate, it's clearly ended.

Durant is a great player but just in this series alone he's vanished in the 4th quarter of the last 2 games. Yeah he's playing big minutes but he's not carrying the team the way LeBron is.

Love will miss game 7 for the Cavs. That gives them an out if they lose, but who knows how that will play out. If they can get past Boston they'll need him if they hope to give whoever comes out of the West a challenge. Lebron is great but I can't see him winning more than 1 game in the finals on his own. Love is a good mismatch if they play the Rockets. Golden State has seen him enough that they know how to take him out of the game whether he plays or not.

Out with a concussion.

Well they usually play better defensively with him out. I actually think they could make it a series if they somehow play the Rockets w/ out CP3. Buts its probably GS vs BOS in a sweep
