That missed layup by Ariza a few minutes ago looks to me to be a great predictor for the outcome of this game and probably for the series. Trevor misses the shot, the camera shows 5 guys in white uniforms involved in the play and only Tucker and Ariza for the Rockets. None of the other Houston players even crossed the 3 point line at the other end of the court.

All about the 3 so far, 5-9 Rockets, 1-7 Warriors

How dare you disrespect Shawn Marion. He was on that team. Man that guy was so insecure about his status on a team and the league.

I believe it was Paul Shirley who ran into The Matrix at a gas station and said he found him in the back of his car watching highlights of himself.
Haha, I 100% believe that. In college my cousin worked as a bellhop, one night a limo is pulling through, the TV is showing Suns highlights, he's helped a few people out and asks "who won the game?", Shawn Marion climbs out and says "I did".

That said, he was a stud. The Mavs didn't have a big 3 but they had a great coach and lot of really solid players that fit together well.

Terrible first quarter for durant and my goodness did Jordan Bell kill the Warriors. That entire run at the end was fueled by Bell either turning it over or repeatedly failing to secure a loose ball.

The Warriors look unrecognizable rn. They are hot garbage. And the Rockets can't miss

Yeah if one team is 8-12 from 3 and the other is 1-7 it's going to look pretty one sided.

That's the thing with the Warriors, turnovers and 3's are the bellwether for them. 1-7 with 4 turnovers is not a good sign. It's still really early but with Iggy still out it's not clear where the impetus off the bench is going to come from, so the starters better get it going.

Hopefully this doesn't play out like game 5 vs the Spurs did in 07. Our short handed Suns jumped out to a big lead but ran out of steam in the 2nd half.

harden is an amazing player but his faking contact is to the level of Euro soccer. he drives in the ball is in his right hand, Curry reaches in and slaps the ball out of his RIGHT hand. And Harden doubles over holding his left hand complaining for a foul. they showed the replay his left hand was nowhere near where Curry deflected the ball out.

Signs of life from the Warriors but 4-15 from 3 and Curry 1-7 is killing them.

He's bad... but not that bad.

In the European final today on guy went down screaming and holding his face... after being gingerly brushed in the shoulder blade, and the same player earlier pulled a WWE move that broke the opposition's best player's arm or shoulder... and went totally unpunished.

Go futbol!

Since I posted that he argued when called for a foul when Durant did the sweep move, a move Harden does more than anybody. And he argued when Durant upfaked him and drew 3 shots, a move Harden does constantly. I think that's what bothers me the most it's not just all the faking it's that a huge part of his game is built on it but when it gets called against him, he argues the call every time.

I did think that should have been 2 shots not 3 when Durant did it though.

Curry seems completely lost right now he keeps bobbling the ball like it's slick, he needs to start driving to the basket.

Cmon Webber you played the game you know that the reason they gave that ball to the Warriors is that Capela fouled Bell so rather than call the foul, they just gave the ball to the Warriors. Yes it was off Bell, but it's because Capela fouled him

Man Gordon is rejuvenated like he's 5 years younger, what a great first half

If you're the Warriors you're still relatively close considering how poorly Durant and Curry have shot

If the Warriors lose this series there may be a case for Iguodala making the HOF.

his defense is so huge against the Rockets, you can see they literally can't find a 5th guy who they can play that can defend all this ISO stuff wtih the Rockets guards. Looney has played the best, Bell and West were disastrous. -12 for Bell, -6 for West in only 2 minutes. Also goes back to why I was so mad they signed Nick Young, he's been completely useless in this series because he can't play defense.

If it was Gordon of 5 years ago he'd be out injured...

What an odd career he's had. That dude went years and years without being able to stay on the court, to suddenly being durable.

Yeah he's never played a full season, most games was 78 as a rookie. He's always been one of those guys who's on the verge of being overweight, he's never gone full on Baron Davis with it but he definitely looks leaner now than earlier in his career.

11-22 from 3 for the Rockets, 4-18 by the Warriors. Honestly the way the Rockets are defending the Warriors should just keep driving to the basket, the Rockets are running them off the 3's

Harden does the OLE on Durant who goes in and dunks and then Harden yells at Capela.

And Draymond got away with another one, when Harden tipped his pass away and the ball was loose Draymond just grabbed a rocket player from behind and the ref didn't call it.

Rockets are fading like Greg Kinnear...

I would say it was fatigue from the short roster but it started at the start of the 3rd when they were presumably well rested from halftime.

NBA refs are comical, Harden hooks Curry, hits him in the back of the head, complains, D'Antoni tells teh ref "they only have 1 foul on them." in the next minute the refs call 3 on the Warriors. Then Kerr complains and the Warriors get a call.

Harden has completely lost his cool. 2 offensive fouls, several more that could have been called. He didn't even bother to come back on defense after Draymond blocked his shot and then 5 on 4 Klay hits a 3. D'Antoni said it on camera in the first half when we're mad we're losing focus.
