The difference between the NOLA and Phoenix back a couple of years ago is that NOLA is playing two actual point guards and not two combo guards.

I see. But is one of the two Point Guards able to outshoot the opponent's Shooting Guard and defend?

As usual, I have no idea what point you are trying to make or what the hell you are arguing for, but Rondo is certainly one of the best defenders at either guard position in the NBA, and Holiday is a decent shooter. 36% for his career, 34% this season. Again, without knowing what point you are arguing or trying to make, I don't really know how to add to the argument.

Hey, man. I asked a question. I am a Suns fan, and have been for over forty years. I catch their games and follow their progress or lack of it.

Unlike many posters here, I am not an NBA junkie (I mean that in a good way), and do not follow the progress of every NBA player or team.

And the fact is that I am 77 years old and my memory for details has declined, which is why I enjoy reading all the detailed evaluations on this board.

So, no. My post wasn't trying to make a point. Nor was I arguing when I asked, "But is one of the two Point Guards able to outshoot the opponent's Shooting Guard and defend?"

And I follow the old philosophy -- attack problems not people. The problem is the Suns decline and continued bumbling.

OKC is short circuiting. Carmelo just flat out doesn't fit at all.

Wow. The young teams are really making a spash in these playoffs. NO, Utah, Philly, and even Minny is giving Houston a little run.

What do all those teams have in common?

It sure as hell ain’t a team chock full of swingmen.

David Aldridge (@daldridgetnt) tweeted at 6:27 PM on Sat, Apr 21, 2018:
League announces @MookMorris2 gets fined $15,000 for criticizing the refs Friday. Fifteen minutes later, it announces @Keefmorris is fined $25,000 for trying to escalate an altercation and for pushing an official. Because #twins

Yep. Ayton is what we need from this draft. Bamba would make a big difference too but there is a stiffness in how he moves. JJJ is interesting but he is a project. I don’t think Doncic is the answer. I really like Young but a big who plays D is so important.

The next wave in the NBA isn't interchangeable wings, unconventional lineups, or any other fashion du jour. It's length. Not height, length. Length shuts down passing lanes, alters shots, gets to loose balls, and finds a way to make an impact. The Suns' emphasis should be on players who play long.

If the Sixers are healthy, they've got the length, athleticism and shooting to give GS a scare... maybe.

I root for Houston. Dantoni and ex Suns players. Would be fun. But mostly because it's not GSW or Bron.

I do REALLY want to see a completely healthy Houston v. GS matchup.

The wave has been here for years. Length allows you to play interchangeable lineups and switch everything if you want to.
