Will Grier threw for 5 more TDs yesterday

and his wife is so hot

I am a huge soccer fan. In Northern Ireland there is a player named Will Grigg who has become a massive fan favorite, and I immediately thought of him and his song when I saw a guy named Will Grier named. :)

God only knows who might make it big...and He is no telling anybody...it's a crapshoot but the Cards HAVE to roll the dice this draft and take SOMEBODY. No more retreads and a "hope and a prayer".

Anyone know much about Kurt Benkert?

I watched the whole BC/Virginia game and Benkert had a rough day (17/33/126yds./0TD/1 INT/3 sacks), but has had a very good season thus far for 5-2 Virginia (62%, 15/4 TD/INT). He's a transfer from East Carolina. Has decent size...looks about 6'4" and 220. Tempo thrower...streaky. Not especially mobile. Battles hard.

I’ll just say this.

If you want to see this franchise get set back 4-5 years, you draft:

Luke Falk
Sam Darnold
Mason Rudolph
Josh Allen

If you want to see this franchise be on the rise again quickly, you draft:

Josh Rosen
Lamar Jackson
MAYBE Baker Mayfield

Get a new coaching staff with a young HC, build the OL through FA while building the defense through the draft & we’ll be on the comeup again soon & will stay there for a while.
Which means when we draft, the three picks taken before ours will be Rosen, Jackson, and Mayfield.

Darnold needs to stay 1 more year with a new coach. Clay Helton and T Martin are in way over their heads.

won't be there. My thought.
I agree which is why I probably wouldn't be in a position to get him. I just believe he has too many hurdles to overcome to take higher. It's not that he can't be successful, it is just that he has more paths to failure than success. Dak and Manziel were both the same in that regard.

I would take a chance on him in round 3.

if he measures 6' 1" at the combine, i think he goes earlier

he may be that QB is good, but below Tier 1 in the draft -- those guys seem to go second round

i am thinking of guys like:

2011: Andy Dalton, Kaepernick
2012: Brock Osweiller
2013: Geno Smith
2014: Bridgewater, D Carr, Garrapolo

that slot of QB is no guarantee -- but Dalton, Bridgewater, Carr and Garrapolo all look like QBs you could win with. Kapernick for all his flaws, did go to two NFC champ games and win one of them

I've been pumping up Grier and Ferguson. Finley, NC State, is a tall skinny kid, but is on the real big stage against Notre Dame this week.

I’m really worried that if BA is still here after the season, Josh Allen will be our 1st round pick.
