Should be a shootout as both defenses have been suspect this year, so theoretically both QB's should look impressive. How either would fare against a strong defense is the better question.

OSU defense is like OU offense in that they play well against inferior teams but teams on their level (PSU & OU) they got torched. How would OU fare against ALA; WAS; WIS; CLEM or VT?

Now or then?
Because IIRC correctly a couple years ago OSU beat Alabama in the college playoffs.

Whoops I meant OU beat Alabama in the playoffs. My mistake.

Ferguson threw another gem with 27/39 298 yds 4TDs and 0 INT. He will become a Day 2 pick.

I'd love for the Cards to draft him, but I'm afraid his shoulder is banged up. He's hardly thrown any deep balls the last 2 games.
seems to me they are looking for a guy they can justify drafting in the second round

I watched highlights of the top 5 QB's. I don't follow college football at all but I may start after watching some highlights. Here's the order I see them

Darnold/Rudolph
Allen
Jackson - He seems like a better runner than passer
Mayfield - He tends to roll out on all of his passes. I don't see him staying in the pocket at all

Of the 5 I like Rudolph the best but would be happy with whoever the Cards choose. I could see them drafting Darnold, Rudolph, or Allen.

Did u say the same about Watson being a better runner?

Didn't really watch any Watson highlights last year. If you watch Jackson's highlights he looks like a tailback with the way he runs. These were last years highlights.

He has to in order to see receivers, that's the down side to shorter QB's they can't see over OL if they stay in pocket.

Anyone watching the Bedlam game? Mayfield is way better than Rudolf...and is throwing bombs from the pocket.

That's a ridiculous statement based off watching him play bits & pieces or just highlights on YouTube.

He may or not make it, but the kid can throw the rock from anywhere on the field & he's no Johnny Football that's for sure!

I've been saying for 2 years he's better than most give him credit for & he's got a great arm.

Btw he's been throwing bombs for 2 years now!

i posted another thread about this game. So much fun to watch, but wouldn't judge either QB on it. Both D's were atrocious for the most part.

The Big 12 defenses have been bad for years & years now that's no doubt! But let's not pretend Mayfield hasn't done the same things again teams outside the conference...ie Ohio St in Columbus is just 1 to mention

When all the debating about qbotf is over & we somehow get to see Mayfield in a Cards jersey. I think most of the board myself included would be relived at the least. The alternative of front office drafting different position in 1st rd is still a bit of concern to me.
