OKC trades Hamidou Diallo to Detroit for Svi Mykhailiuk and a 2027 second round pick.

Embiid seems to get injured a lot. He throws his body around a lot.
Jared Dudley has a reported right MCL tear.
I hope it doesn't affect his jumping ability.

It's hard to believe a team would give up a second round pick for Trevor Ariza who is under salary for $12,800,000. He hasn't played this season.

Good to see his value plummet. I guarantee that Golden State wouldn't trade Oubre for him and Memphis would probably pass on swapping Brooks for him also. Its too bad he will likely find a contender to latch on with eventually but I'm glad OKC has held firm looking to deal him rather than buying him out.
If OKC's GM gets a second round pick for Ariza, he is a genius. He hasn't even played this season for reported personal reasons.
I suspect those personal reasons are the same as Iggy's were last year when he sat out in Memphis for half the season.
I doubt OKC want Ariza around their young guys and its better they get the minutes than him. We've seen firsthand how he is when he's not engaged. His trade value would evaporate if they did try using him and he fell from the rotation.
He's up there in age now and I'd be surprised if he contributes meaningful minutes for anyone again.
Since they parlayed that into CP3, yes. That's why I was saying OKC's GM is a genius if he gets an asset for Ariza.
One of the best things to happen to the Suns is when they traded him for Oubre.
