Well, they were definitely robbed of a chance to at least play for a championship. Not they I necessarily believe the NBA front office was complicit in that theft as was suggested by our favorite game fixer.

I think whoever came out of the west was going to roll over the East. Those were the Kidd Nets teams and the Iverson 76ers right?

They had no chance against those Kings and Lakers squads

Cinderella stories happen but yeah, I certainly would have bet on the Kings.

Don't know about GP2 but Klay is warming up and will play tonight so that's good news

Ouch. Looney and Dwight powell go for the board, Powell gets hit loses a contact and now has a huge knot on his head that's growing as you watch. Like an egg inside his head

Moody has a wide open shot but travels, I'm yelling at the tv what is he doing in there. So of course he hits consecutive 3's to tie it. Don't listen to me Steve Kerr you be you!

Man... with a tough 3 game roadie coming up it would be big to get that W tomorrow and put even more distance between us and GS/Memphis 5 games into post All-Star game sans CP3 and Book.

Lakers, flat out smoked by the remnants of the Clippers.

This Lakers team is probably the biggest embarrassment in NBA history. I know a lot of people here thought the preseason hype, the status as a title favorite, was laughable, but that certainly was not the national consensus, and I don't think many here thought they'd be this putrid. I figured they'd be similar to last year, looking at a 6-8 seed and telling themselves that they'd piece it together in the playoffs. This trash team is on the brink of not even making the play in game.

It does slay me hearing these talking heads and reading articles by prognosticators saying acting as though they knew the Lakers would be this pathetic. I remember some of them questioning the fit of LeBron and Westbrook, but virtually all of them envisioned the Lakers as a title contender.

That Portland team was not really an NBA team. I kinda wonder how many teams we will face from here to the end that are actually trying to win.

3 in a row, team is in a real bad place right now, really need Draymond back.

The Warriors and Suns stacked up wins early. That should be enough to carry both teams over the finish line.

Now, it's all about injuries, getting players back and finding the chemistry again. If the Warriors get Green back they should be fine although it may take a few games to get back in the groove.

All the teams are running on fumes right now.

The claim is Dray is getting closer. He's trash talking guys in practice, had a full practice on Saturday for the first time, played 3 on 3 with a group that included Wiseman. If they get him back and he's close to 100% it'll be huge, they were one of the best defensive teams with him, without him very mediocre on D right now.

Plus teams can't do Jason Kidd with Green there, Kidd just doubles Curry either as he crosses halfcourt or on the ball screen. With Green the pass goes to him and he's the decision guy, without him it's very bogged down, Poole is really the only guy who makes that work and he's inconsistent(was great last night).

You're absolutely correct. I was talking with a co-worker and he was certain the Lakers were going to run away with the championship. I told him they were going to be a disaster, that Westbrook was a ball hog and it would screw up the flow of their offense. Even though I hate that the Rams won the Super Bowl, I'm even happier that the Lakers are terrible. Terrible. Because screw LA sports teams.
