THe PG last night just face guarded Curry the offense ran through Randle and Fournier. Team like that the Warriors are so small they get overwhelmed , they could not keep them off the offensive glass.

Yeah. However, it doesn't work every night for the Knicks.

There are always going to be those nights where a team is hard to beat.

Would you have done this deal? The Lakers had a chance to get John Wall for Russel Westbrook. However, the sticking point was a 1st round pick which the Lakers refused. They opted for the buyout market instead.

I would not have.

John Wall or Westbrook, they are still a crappy team, and they give up a 1st rounder for essentially nothing.

Wall must be completely done. He'd be a better fit than Russ is at least. The Lakers aren't going anywhere this year regardless of which overpaid corpse they trot out at PG though. So I guess saving that pick will allow them some flexibility down the road.

So far Jalen Smith is 3-4 for 8 points with the Pacers. They are playing the Cavaliers. Go Stix!

Perhaps the Mavericks will not pursue Goran Dragic if bought out.

Marcus Smart levels Campazzo and the refs call it a natural basketball move

Hopefully we can add Dragic or Schroeder

After not pulling the trigger on a no-brainer addition like Gordon it’s clear they’re not impacting the top-8 rotation players. They’re not messing with chemistry... Plus there’s no proof Schroeder/Dragic can shimmy in the tunnel before games.

I wanted Gordon but if he's really hampered by plantar fasciitis it's far from a no-brainer.

If he gets bought out, then sure, it's no brainer to try and sign him but trading for him was not a no brainer.

Gordon will cost approximately $20 million next season, would make the Shamet acquisition and signing redundant, and would supplant one of the guards in the rotation when he's healthy enough to play. He'd also cost a 1st round pick. If Ayton is resigned then we'll be in luxury tax world, which means the extra money we'd be paying Gordon would be even more significant, especially with the escalator in his deal where a year becomes fully guaranteed if we win the title. Yes, incentives travel with the player and apply to whoever holds his contract regardless of who signed them to it.

It's hard to say with the addition of Aaron Holiday. The Suns might be content with the tweaks they have made to the roster.

They really value chemistry and team culture.

Watching James Jones moves over the past several seasons I didn't think he would go after big dollar contracts before the trade deadline.

I thought adding Torrey Craig was a solid addition but adding Aaron Holiday caught me by surprise. I wanted a forward and a point guard but Holiday was not on my radar.

Oh damn I totally forgot we added him. I hear he’s a dog on defense.

Although Schroder may be able to do some DAWGS.

My trade idea was Saric, Shamet and a future 1st. That wouldn’t have increased salary implications on next year. If Houston wanted nothing to do with getting salary back beyond this year then there’s nothing you can do obviously. I loved the basketball fit.

I would actually like to get Schroeder over Dragic cause he can be a dawg on defense with his length and a-hole’dness. I’m looking at guards in a potential finals matchup; Harden, Kyrie, Jrue (even Reggie Jackson gave it to us last year). I don’t think Schroeder is a quality defender consistently but only needs to be a pest in part time action.

The same here. I would prefer Schroder over Dragic.

I've always liked what he brings to the table. The way he drives reminds me a bit of Cam Payne.

It's hard to see it happening now but under the tutelage of Chris Paul he might have become PGOTF.

I know that general incentives transfer but are you saying a club cannot specifically tie a provision to the club itself? I don't know if it's accurate but I've read more than one writeup on the contract that states his final year becomes guaranteed if he wins a championship with the Rockets. Or are you saying the contract didn't include that wording?
