Just another player who can't hit 3s
No on Brooks
Knicks lucky Butler ain't playing
How do these teams play well?
Every GameDay just seems like we really freaking struggle. Other teams lose a player ....inspired....we lose a player we lose 12 in a row...6 of 8
Cmon man

We've been like this for awhile. I'm not sure I'm right but I think it's a little bit Monty/JJ but mostly falls on Ryan McD. We wasted so many picks under Ryan with nothing to show for them. And not just the picks we used, the ones we wasted to get Chriss or Brandon Jennings or Brandon Knight or Dark Brandon or whichever one we traded for. Get value out of those 8 or 9 picks and we'd be a lot deeper and the Coach would have better options available.

I could go to the last 6 game day threads and it's the same ole...9 pages of doom and gloom...2 pages of Suns balling..this includes the Clippers lol. Now it's just horrible. I expected a KD game by now. I'm getting worried . Mikal is sitting at home but he's sitting at home with a grin.

Word is Brooks won’t be brought back by the Grizz. Is he worth a look?

I'd take him for a minimum prove it deal. I don't think he'll get much more than that from anyone. He might get the Bi-Annual Exception, which is about 1.5-2 times the minimum he'd be able to sign for. We need depth that bad and he'd provide that as a 7th or 8th man. On a minimum deal we could also cut our losses if he acts up. So I think it'd be a low risk venture but I can't see Monty being cool with him being brought in. If I recall, Brooks and Booker have gotten into before but Book is a competitor and would be ok with it if he thought he wss capable of helping. I'm not sure if he is capable of helping much though.

At least 4 missed layups already by the Warriors, Davis really bothering them inside and killing them on offense.

Has a home team ever gone an entire first half in a playoff game without shooting a FT?

Doesn't bode well 13 made 3's and down 1 at the half is not a good sign.

Crazy how much bigger the Lakers are than the Warriors. 7 blocks already.

They're face guarding Curry with Vanderbilt and at the other end they're going at him because they always have a size mismatch on him.

Size is the obvious difference, and every offensive rebound the lakers get is a bucket.

Very tough matchup for the Warriors they have 17 made 3's already and are down 8 they just can't stop the Lakers inside

The winner of the Laker-Warriors series will win the West and also be crowned NBA Champion. The Bucks being out make it a certainty. IMHO of course.

I think whoever wins DEN/Suns will end up winning the West. I agree the East is looking way less formidable than it did before the playoffs started.

What a game! Curry insane. AD has played every minute of the second half, putting up 30 and 23 boards! Lakers with 10 blocks!

Poole needs to be slapped thinking he's Curry from hella deep like that - Kerr should've called a time out there and Warriors should've set something up

normally agree but he can make that shot and the way the Lakers were defending it was the best look they were going to get given they were down 3.

The key play to me was the block by AD on Curry when it was a 2 point game.

29 to 6 on FT's the Lakers just controlled the paint. They could have called a jump ball there on the timeout by Schroder but to be fair Poole probably fouled him before they called the timeout

Surprised no one posted about this, Joel Embiid has been named the 2022-23 NBA MVP.

Well deserved. I'd say he had a strong case over the last couple of seasons so I am glad he finally won the award as his play has continued to impact the Sixers and help make them legit title contenders. Hopefully he returns soon.
