Who am I to say different but it seems awfully early for the Warriors to be resting players.

Another chapter to the story. It looks like Kyrie Irving apologizes.

Glad he posted it, shouldn’t have taken so long, dubious if he believes the words or realizes he REALLY stepped in one that might the proverbial straw…but glad he posted it.

In this present culture, it's probably wise to keep your mouth shut on just about everything.
Or, and this is just a thought, refrain from saying anything that’s offensive or could create danger for others. These are choices.

Almost everything is offensive to someone. Plenty of people here have said things offensive to me. I just keep quiet about it.
people can't keep quiet about racism, sexism, anti-semitism, anti-trans/LGTBQ. To do so helps put all those people effected by the above into danger.

more often than not, those who keep quiet about the above are able to do so because they aren't effected by it... which is why that kind of voice is needed most of all. We've seen on this board the claim that Jews can't really decide what is Anti-Semitic because they're too sensitive to the topic. I've seen the same things said about almost every minority in this country. People need to stand up for the minority and stand against hatred. If that offends those increasing the danger and limiting opportunities for minorities, who cares?

Not if you followed along Steph is the only one of teh 4 that's in regular season shape. Klay was rested because of his injury history, Draymond clearly isn't in top shape yet and Wiggins had some minor thing in camp that cut his schedule. That's why Kerr said early in the year they're going to play the young guys more.

My guess is this is both tired starters and Kerr just wants to play his bench 48 minutes, with Looney, and see who steps up and who shies away. My guess is some guys are playing to either show the Warriors we should keep you, or show some other team we should trade for you.

Curious to see Baldwin all the warriors insiders are saying they like him better than all the other young guys they think he's going to be an absolute steal.

Not even 10 games in and the warriors are resting players?

There’s a video going around of Steph being pissed about Wiseman being lazy on the court

It must be a nice feeling for the Warriors not be concerned about opponents, standings, money, talent and being able to flip the switch at any time.

I don't think that is what this is about.

I think Kerr is protecting his starters ego's from taking another beat down to one of the better teams in the west. He probably thinks a few days off may help them get their minds right.

I think Kerr is concerned he said today he thinks there's a bit of post championship hangover although I think that's wrong. The starters are just fine their all positive in plus minus, it's the bench and that most of teh starters can't play starters minutes yet.

There's even talk Dwight Howard wants the warriors to sign him to "mentor" James Wiseman

The starters aren't the issue the bench is. I think he wants to find out who on the bench will compete and who won't. They have guys who want minutes. I think he fully expects to lose this game but thinks long term it will benefit him to find out

It still comes down to something similar to the story about The Tortoise and the Hare.

I think the Warriors feel they can coast if necessary and turn it on when it counts.

Until someone disproves it, there is no reason to think they can't.

AFAIC Pop has shown his character and has earned the benefit of doubt on issues such as this. But we'll see.
If you take that position, then you undermine the believability of the accuser in this case. I am not saying you are wrong. It just puts her accusations against Primo in doubt as well. I am sure glad that I don't have the responsibility of untangling this.

Sort of but they were not trying to lose the last 4 games they wanted to win all of them.

Tonight I don't think they particularly care.

It's all a bit too much. Players don't want to take a stance against another player. The NBA should have stepped up to the plate.

I put this mostly on Adam Silver. He whiffed on Sarver and again on this. I used to like Adam Silver but not now. He has no balls.

The Warriors resting the players for the game tonight got the conversation going.

I don't think they intended to lose their last four games.

However, how many contending teams are going to rest their players after losing four straight this early in the season?

Yeah, I don't think he wants to be the bad guy.

First look at Zion Williamson this year, I think his defense is not only worse, I think it's MUCH worse than before? twice already in this game Kuminga took him off the dribble behind the 3 point line and got to teh rim for a dunk. the first one didn't count just late on the shot clock, the 2nd one counted and you could hear Willie Green the coach yelling at Zion to move his feet.

Alvarado is such a pest, drove Jordan Poole nuts in the first half with his defense.

For such a ridiculous physical specimen and out of this world athlete, Zion is a pretty pathetic rebounder.

7.4 per game from that guy is beyond weak.

Kuminga got him again in the 3rd quarter fake from 3 point line all the way to the rim for a dunk. Earlier he got him on a pump fake and drew a foul. Willie Green got tired of it and took Zion off Kuminga and then pulled him from the game.

I have to say in this game he's maybe their 3rd best player behind Ingram and McCollum. Still unguardable on offense but the warriors are attacking him relentlessly at the other end
