If I were the Pelicans I would think very long and hard about just trading Zion if they can. I doubt they can but I mean he's AWFUL on defense. Ty Jerome blew by him for a layup not long ago.

He's great on offense, he's fun to watch and sells tickets but I don't think you win big with him not becoming a better defender

Zion should be embarrassed.

Because one of the best/quickest guards in the league drove past him?

He’s NOT a good defender by ANY stretch of the imagination, but Trae will do that to be of defenders, much less one of the worst.

Another weak rebounding night tho with only 8 in an OT game.

Even minus the injuries, Zion is such a hard guy to get a bead on. Guy is either in 10th gear, playing at a level that almost no one has ever reached, or flat out idling.

Maybe he has to manage himself like that or his limbs would fly off... or his fat would trim down to a reasonable level.

No because Trae had no respect for him at all. Letting a little guy like that chest bump you and stare you down.

Next play he should of Raja Bell’ed him

That's a big boy he's gonna spend a lot of time injured with the way he throws that mass around.
When he's on he's terrifying but I can't remember any games against the Suns when he was playing well.
Maybe because he's been mostly "injured"

That Raja decapitation was the background on my office computer for years.
I removed it after Kobe died.

To put this context, Zion accidentally knocked off Trae Young's glasses.

Otherwise, Trae might have looked like this.

The Lakers lost to the Cavaliers and fall to 2-7 on the season.

So, is Kawhi done? Missed 7 of 9 games so far this year, 16 months post ACL surgery.

This is how I imagine Kawhi interacts with trainers:

Furthermore, back in 20/21 this same Clippers team was HEALTHY and was the 4th seed. A few years and a butt load of injuries later, the idea that those dudes were a title favorite always seemed odd.

I'm no doctor, but considering how most people recover from ACL, my guess is yes he probably is done. Seems like they botched the surgery or something.

The Jazz are 8-3 after beating the Clippers last night.

This has to be the quickest rebuild ever if they decide they like their roster.

Plus, they have a boatload of draft picks to keep improving.

When do they start tanking is my question.

Danny Ainge has already won big time in trades of Mitchell and Gobert. Maybe the Jazz don't feel the need to tank.

They have lots of young talent plus an arsenal of draft picks.
