It would be intriguing. The Suns would also have Payne, Lee and Washington Jr. there.

I think if you acquire Clarkson, Payne would have to be moved. Lee, who i was down on, actually provides more than Payne...i know its a small sample size. Lee's height/length/strength over Payne is a bonus too.

I know a lot of fans don't like Grayson Allen, but a back court of combo guards Landry Shamet and Grayson Allen might work just as well as adding Clarkson.

Payne is on such a cheap contract, I'd keep him.

If Payne continues to suck then why keep, cheap or not.

Clarkson is more dynamic imo, Allen can get buckets but i dont see him as the flame thrower Clarkson can be at some times.

IMO, point guard depth is too valuable to trade unless a team gets something significant in return.

Clarkson and Shamet might be fine as backup combo guards, but Chris Paul's ability to stay healthy is a question mark.

I'm a big believer in depth. It's a long season.

I prefer quality over depth.

Don't we all until one needs it.

When the Suns went to the Finals I was hoping they would add another power forward all season. Then Saric got hurt against the Bucks.

Totally disagree. Payne is clearly the better player than Lee. Lee is not good creating his own shot, Payne can get a decent shot anytime he wants. That is hugely important.

I said it was a small sample, but after 3 games Lee has averaged 4 more minutes per game, he leads Payne in just about every stat.

Yes - pick swap available

But the trade isn’t over yet, and the Pelicans may cash in on another Lakers’ pick as soon as next season. They own a pick swap in 2023, and right now, the smart bet is that the Pelicans will use it to trade picks with the Lakers.

T'Wolves got mauled by the Spurs. The final score is deceptive, they trailed by 34 in the 4th. They're now 2-2 and have only played teams that are presumed to be tanking.

Ja Morant.

That’s all.

Man… we had the WORST record in the league the year two generational talents came out and we ended up with… Cam Johnson.

Can you imagine

Ja/Book/Bridges/Ayton as the building blocks for a decade? Good God.

That's wishing we were in the 1 or 2 spot to pick, but i think you should be saying we could have had Poole.

Which just goes to show you tanking often does not work out for you.

I rather have Greyson on my team than play against him. Allen Grayson, Patrick Beverly and Matt Dellavedova are all from the same mold. Hard nose playing guards who could possibly cause a injury to opposing team's guards unfortunately. Grayson wouldn't be bad he may be ready to step into a bigger role too.
How about Derrick Favors? Power forward at only 31 years old seems he been in the for ages though. Anything left in the tank? Could be cheap contract.

Look how far all the years of "the process" got Philly.

Obviously they hit gold with Embiid, although he hardly played for his first 3 years.

Ben Simmons at #1 is... dubious, he does have some individual accolades but his value, even at his best, was questionable.

After those two the Sixers draft record is a horror show. Evan Turner, Markelle Fultz, Jahlil Oakafor all taken in the top 3. Lotto picks used on Michael Carter Williams, Elfrid Payton. They drafted Bridges but traded him to us for Zharie Smith.

They also traded 2 firsts (along with a ton of other parts) for Andrew Bynum, who never played a single minute for them.
