The Pistons must be preparing for something.

I'd take Hyland. Also, Kennard would be nice.

Statistically they are very close to each other. Dinwiddie is a FA this summer, Schroeder next summer. Question is, why does Brooklyn make this trade? I believe Toronto has to include something else for salary matching, but maybe not -- Toronto may be under the cap and can absorb the extra 8m per year that Dinwiddie costs.

Dinwiddie wasn't the answer to their PG problems in Brooklyn. I think it's auditioning Schroeder for half a season and getting rid of someone who didn't fit into plans anymore.

Makes sense. Expensive audition.

I think it makes less sense for Brooklyn. Schroeder makes $12 million while Dinwiddie makes $18m.

I thought both were expiring but Schroeder has another year at $13m. That is a moveable expiring but you're right, doesn't make a ton of sense. Had they both been expiring then it would be a wash.

Nets just waived Joe Harris - Suns can't sign him because of the 2nd apron.

Pretty clear they are cleaning house.

Mikal may get moved next.

I think if we do anything it'll be a three way - we're just not sexy enough to score on our own and the viagra's only gonna last a couple more hours

I don't understand this deal. Looks like the Mavs lose this deal to me.

I like the OKC move for Hayward. I'd been reading about their plans and they didn't want to disrupt their chemistry and Hayward won't while providing them a veteran voice to their rotation. He's still a knockdown shooter but he can't create for himself like he could in Utah or Boston. Not like Bertrans was helping them and Mann was the only decent player they gave up.

I think some team was reported to have offered five first round picks for Mikal.

I read Dallas really wanted to move Grant Wiiliams. Maybe a chemistry thing?

I like what Dallas has done, especially trading for Gafford.

Most of the trades I've seen so far are pretty much laterals.
I like Schroder with Mikal it will be good for both of them.

I think swapping Williams for Washington is a good move. Dallas is better after these moves IMO.
Washington's numbers look pretty bad on a bad team. That usually doesn't change when they go to a good team.

I don't think Dallas has many 1st's not a good use of it is the main problem I have with the deal.
