Can Gordon be signed to a min. Deal or do you have to pick up his contract? In other words is he even an option?
If you select him off waivers you pay his contract. Once he clears waivers, he is essentially a free agent. I believe since his other team is on the hook for his contract, that he will be signing a vet minimum deal. We were discussing that possibility with CP3. He couldn't clear waivers, have us pay his salary, then sign for $30 million elsewhere.

What is the time period to clear waivers?

Huh. Who would actually trade for him? Golden State? Portland? Houston I suppose.
Houston is the only one that makes sense. Harden can't play with Lillard, and I can't see him fitting in with Curry, either.

I wonder who the Clippers would have to give up? Some combination of Ivan Zubac, Nicolas Batum, and Robert Covington?
Good point. That same rumored deal for Ayton kind of makes sense for them if they are trying to make one last push. Well probably not Zubac, but they have other contracts to move.

If you trade for Ayton, you are in theory saying Zubacs isn't good enough for you. That's why I am skeptical of this.

Clips are in a different position than us. For them getting a scoring center makes sense since they have to expect Paul and Kwahi will miss a ton of games.

So Dame wants to stay in Portland after the meeting today and they are going to work to improve the team.

Portland management is stupid, they will not compete and they are wasting Lillard's trade value.
I’d be so pissed if I was a Blazers fan at this point.

IDK, I know we won't win poo with the Mercury with DT still there, but I am NOT pushing her out! You only get so long to admire greatness. Just sit back and enjoy Dame. Soon he will not be playing, and you will be going, "Damn! I wish he could play just one more year!"

Its rumored the Clippers have been in talks with them. Also the Rockets cause they have money to burn. Heard it on the radio but since I have to fake like I know people.. my inside sources in the league told me.

Kevin Pelton of ESPN has Marcus Morris Sr. and Norman Powell as a possible Harden “salary match” for Philly, but he points out that Morris would not have much value to the 76ers, who already have Tobias Harris and P.J. Tucker.

Bruce Brown is going to meet with the Mavericks among possibly other teams.

Cam Johnson was my favorite Phoenix Suns player, but Holy moly is $25 million/year a lot for someone who's at best the third or fourth best player on a good team. I guess I'll probably think about it for a split second before I Shell out for my next month's DIRECTV bill. Anyhow good for him.

At this point does anybody out there really think there's more than like a 5% chance deandre Ayton is playing in a different uniform to start next season?

This is how to properly set a moving screen, err, I mean downfield blocking.
