The difference was Reddick was much better against the run in college.

His body was also 3 more years mature. Effort and willingness is the main component in playing the run and tackling. I think he has both of these traits to be at least average vs the run in this system.

I hope this is his worst game. I'm an LSU fan, but the kid had zero impact in this game and missed a tackle on Bama's last drive in regulation.

Not sure what your watching there. He played well. They dropped him into coverage a bunch, probably 20% of his snaps are off ball or dropping. He had a QB hit in the end zone that forced a throwaway to stop a safety. He had a 1.5 TFLs and a sack. He had a bunch of pressures (like 5+) including bull rushing a guard back into Young for another throwaway. He was also held at least three times for what could have been sacks.

There were a couple of sacks he should have had and late Young escape though.

And most of this against JC Latham who a 1st round tackle next year.

Where is the bend that people are talking so much about? Obviously this is a different offense from what he'll see in the NFL, but you don't see him turn the corner very often.

What you do see is that he drops into coverage quite a bit, he does a good job of standing up offensive linemen to read the play, and he hustles to the ball when it comes into his area.

I still think he might be a Sam 'backer in a 4-3.

I see Ojulari being the RDE much like the Eagles used Josh Sweat. He has those long arms, and a full toolbox of pass rush moves that you look for in an Edge rusher.

This is a good solid football player with a pro bowl ceiling. He is likely not a superstar and it would be really nice to have him as the 2nd best pass rusher on your team, not your #1 threat. I think our best pass rusher will be Cameron Thomas. If he turns out to not be that guy (or if they kick him inside), I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the first round picks used on a truly elite pass rusher next year to put across from Ojulari.

Yeah he didn't seem to have any impact in the passing game. TN was getting rid of the ball real fast. But NFL teams do that too.

It's like Ouchie said, his bend is more of a duck move. I don't know if that's going to work in the NFL.

The reports were that he needed work in the run game. But that seemed like the better part of his game. He kept good contain most of the game. Right until the end where he went inside and gave up the huge run. Then lost contain again and gave up a first down.

Based on that tape, I didn't see anything special worth a 2nd round pick. But TN was getting rid of the ball crazy fast. Maybe there's tape against more of a drop back style offense?

I was impressed with Cam in the small sample size. He looks like a long term as a strong side DE.
