I wouldn't say "severely" but yes, I agree they have fewer star/near star quality players than most playoff teams have. And they will likely be on the outside looking in come playoffs unless Kawhi shocks us all.

What I wouldn't give to have Zubac in a Suns uniform. He is a player I have always wanted for Phoenix.

Omg that’s hideous. I’d be pissed if I were Wade.
That was my initial reaction, but after learning Wade was hands on and saw the face mold before the statue was even being constructed I now would be pissed if I were a Heat official. They didn't see it until the reveal and now that got that hideous thing in front of their arena.

Are you kidding me?! Wade signed off on that monstrosity? What does he see in the mirror?!

Why don't they get better artists to do these things?
I know that artists like to have creative license and do their own thing but it's not like the technology doesn't exist to AT LEAST make these faces look spot on while they are doing it.

It's supposed to honor the player, not the idiosyncracies of some random sculptor. It could easily be made to look like him. It looks like some kid in a junior high art class did it.

Maybe it was that.

He wasn't benched they had no Steph, Wiggins or Melton so they shook up the lineup to get better balance. Kuminga had a nice game, as did Hield who had 19 in the 4th so far.

They also found a player in Lindy Waters, kid can shoot and is big enough to be a factor on the glass. They were down 20 and are now up 15 with about 2 minutes left

Yves Missi is intriguing, long and athletic but my goodness he's going to kill someone if he keeps throwing elbows. He hit 3 Warriors in the face in just the 2nd half including nailing hield right in the jaw, could not believe the refs didn't call a flagrant on it was blatant.

There's a difference between keep your elbows up to protect the ball, and try to hit someone in the face with an elbow.

The tweet gave a different impression. Thanks for clarifying.

It looks like whatever Steve Kerr did, it worked. The Warriors have some nice young players.

Yeah he didn't start, but he wasn't benched they are flipping rotations pretty regularly early in the year. He was bad against the Jazz but they won so easily it didn't matter, he's improved. I just wish he was a better FT shooter and rebounder.

So I guess the plan is for the Warriors to match any offer to Kuminga when he becomes a restricted free agent.

Not sure but my understanding is they aren't saying they don't want to keep him, they're just waiting.

He responded well last night, the last time they moved him out of the starting lineup he pouted, last night he was terrific, especially on defense.

I hope they keep him

My guess is the Warriors keep Kuminga unless they receive a trade offer they like better.

He needs to be more consistent but honestly beyond Curry the one guy on the team they can give the ball to and say get a shot, is Kuminga. Wiggins was brilliant in his last game but not sure how sustainable that is.

THey are still too small and it seems like Draymond is less capable of guarding 7 footers than in past years, age catching up I assume, but they are deep and explosive.

Kerr clarified said with Curry and Wiggins both out he wanted more shooting in the starting lineup so he brought Kuminga off the bench. The reason he didn't notify him except by text was "it wasn't a big deal we were trying to balance out the lineup not demote JK." So hopefully not an issue, the chemistry this year seems to be great.
