What are you saying is fake? lol

Dov Kleiman, the 30 year old dude that lives in Israel and former BroBible and Outkick employee who has zero NFL connections and just steals others posts and makes crap up.

He's just creating clicks for Twitter money.

No way Caleb Williams or his team said this.

Here's the Athletic's projection after week 6:
TeamProjected WinsPlayoff Chance
1. Carolina -> Chicago4.10.4%
2. Arizona4.60.6%
3. Chicago4.60.7%
4. Denver5.00.4%
5. NY Giants5.02.1%
6. New England5.36.4%
7. Washington7.012.9%
8. Tennessee7.112.1%
9. NY Jets (!)7.313.1%
10. Minnesota7.322.4%
Good news & bad, with the Cardinals moving up to #2, but the Houston pick now outside the top 10. As they note, the top six are pretty well locked in, with New England now projected to win 5.3 games and Washington projected to win 7. Though of course, a lot can still change. I'm not sure whether their win projection for the Cardinals would change based on Murray's impending return.

The other bad news aspect is that if the draft order ends up this way, it's tough to see a path for the Cardinals to land Marvin Harrison Jr., unless they stand pat and take him at #2. Ideally a QB-needy team would be in the #3 spot and the Cards could trade back for a minor haul and still get MHJ, but if things end up like this, the Bears could take a QB at #1.

The Athletic's mock draft this week (without trades):
1. Carolina -> Chicago: QB Williams
2. Arizona: OT Fashanu
3. Chicago: WR MHJ
4. Denver: QB Maye
5. NY Giants: OT Mims
6. New England: Edge Verse
7. Washington: OT Latham
8. NY Jets (?): TE Bowers
9. Tennessee: OT Alt
10. Minnesota: QB McCarthy
11. Pittsburgh: CB McKinstry
12. Houston -> Arizona: CB Wiggins

If da bears believe we are gonna take MHJ at 2 they could just take him at 1 and grab a QB at 3...assuming they are not in love with a specific guy. Because if mhj goes and we don't want a qb we are certain to trade out.

so: MHJ at #2, or, trade down with Denver at #4, plus their 3rd and a 2025 1st?

plus: if this is the order, Chicago's left tackle is Larry Borom. If you invest in Caleb Williams, maybe you take the best LT to protect him.

I could see Chicago getting a LOT for the #3 pick from a QB needy team. And at least something from Denver to move from four to three.

Unless KM can play D I see plenty of losing in our future.

Yeah... I think the last two offenses we've played were pretty good tho. LA and CIN. make it three if you want to throw in SF and the Cinderella kid.

Not really arguing with you PJ, but I bet we'll see a better defensive performance this week.

You and I usually disagree on everything but I agree that that tweet wreaks of fake news.

It likely is, but I have really only seen negative attitude with Caleb Williams.

Reportedly Drake Maye was offered an obscene NIL deal to leave Carolina for a highly ranked team, but he stuck around out of loyalty to the team and his home state. I doubt Caleb Williams would have done the same thing.

UNC is all the way up to #10, wow. Next three games are a real murderers' row though. Unranked Virginia, unranked Georgia Tech, and then the Fighting Camels of Campbell University come to visit Chapel Hill on Nov the 4th.

Can't wait to see Drake Maye get after the 9th place team from the Colonial Athletic Association. Just wow.

I don't feel the hype for either Williams or Maye.
The QB I have enjoyed watching the most this year is Penix Jr. A lot of that has to do with his incredible personal story, overcoming three severe injuries. But he isn't a slam dunk either.

One of them will probably be really good, but which one? IDK.
