With all the WR talent there could absolutely be a run on WRs, dropping a nice player unexpectedly to us with the Texans pick.
I think there will be a run. The key is the elite receivers are likely gone in the top 18. You could get a good one at the Texas pick, but likely not a game changer.

Unless they don't draft a 1st round WR...
I hope they are leaning WR. 2025 looks mediocre. They could maybe get a starter with their early 2, but the guys I want will be long gone. Where are you thinking they go in round 1?

After reading this thread I am good with MHJ being the selection even though I keep screaming for trench players. I do think the Cards win enough games to knock us out of the top 3 picks.

What I don't want is Monti trading up to get MHJ.

Free agency will change some things, but it is also possible they trade down from 2-5 to grab more picks. Most on here like the idea of Alt or Fashanu but Monti may be happy with The Captain and PJJ at the tackle positions. Would still get them a top player and would give them ammo to trade up from the TExans pick or round 2 if they wanted. Should be a lot of options for AZ if they decide to stick with Murray.

Which games are you thinking we will win. I can’t see us winning any remaining games.

I wonder if Monti will have an interest in Shedeur Sanders. I think Harrison Jr will be their first pick but I don't see Murray solidifying himself with this regime in the next 5 games and I don't think they would take Maye over Harrison Jr.

1 - I don't believe Shedeur will declare.

2 - He is a terrible passer in terms of the NFL.
