Whatever the suns do will fail. Always have always will. Even with odds higher than LA and better than Philly/Nets they still lost.
Being a suns fan is worse than being a cardinals fan

From a Philly board, suggested by a Philly fan. I would do this.

ORL gets Knight and 4
PHI gets Hezonja, 6, 25, and 2018 MIA 1st
PHX gets Okafor and 3

#4, Knight, and a Miami 1st (protected) for #3 and Okafor.
I think I do that.

You would? To me that's giving up a Miami pick to get rid of Knight and no chance in the world would I consider that. Okafor is a negative and the odds that Philly wants the one guy that we have to have are quite slim.

Its also guaranteeing Jackson. I think the drop off after Jackson in this draft is huge.

I still don't think why people don't think Philly will take Jackson OR trade down to a team that will take Jackson.

Simmons is a PF. He can handle the ball and playmake. 76ers need for a PG isn't important because of Simmons.

They can use an athletic slasher like Jackson.

The Suns are as much guaranteed to Johnson as they are to Fultz or Ball imo which means I'm saying we're not guaranteed any of the 3.

I don't think okafor is a negative. He has legitimate post production. And he's young. And ensuring we get jackson AND getting rid of knight is worth one of the variable Miami picks.

I don't think the drop-off is huge after Jackson. McD doesn't think there is a huge dropoff.
That's what he HAS to tell the public so everyone doesn't jump ship when fultz-ball-jackson are all gone. I promise whomever they select will be the "guy we wanted all along!" Don't believe the spin. There's definitely a drop off between the top three. It's what's been discussed literally all year.

Absolutely agree. Not only do they not want a traditional pg, it might actually be against their best interest to take a ball dominant pg when the ball will be in Simmons hands so often. A shooter? Certainly. But they can load up on backcourt shooters without expending the #3 pick on them. That's why Jackson makes sense for them. They need the two-way wing bc they don't have one.

There very well could be a dropoff of some kind but it's not huge

I think it will prove to be huge. And in a league where incremental differences make all the difference, a drop off could have enormous ramifications.

So it is with the Suns. 2nd pick in two one player drafts. 4th pick in a 3 player draft. It goes on an on.

They also have Saric another 3/4 tall lanky guy. They need shooters and ball handlers but then again it's Philly you never really know

Are the Suns the biggest losers in the draft this year?

No that is Orlando. The Lakers keeping their pick means that the Orlando gets 2 2nd round picks instead of an unprotected 2019 pick.

Legit the Lakers were about to suffer 4 years of crap with 1 draft pick and the NBA just said "Nope we can't have that"

That's true. But the question was biggest losers in THIS draft. I guess you could say THIS draft impacted 2019.

If you consider that Sacramento had to switch their pick with Philly that is a big loss too.

So would i. We already know the Miami picks will be rigged to slot into another teams' favor. Lol

No it was a win for them. If sac hadn't moved up and had to switch to phillys pick they would have been picking lower. The trade has already happened. All they could do was pick where they were supposed to or move up. They moved up.
