Well, it depends on how much time expired between the purchase and the delivery. If it was it same day or next day delivery it's fair to say the Badger was likely still in town during the alleged party and you have to assume he was probably at his house.

We should have a poll.

Oh sure, I've got my suspicions but I'm not going to rush to judgement. In part because I'd like to be that person who doesn't rush to judgement but mostly because the guy is a Cardinal and I love the way he plays.

Is everything
It was not quite 7 weeks ago, with 2 days between purchase and delivery.

Didn't I say that already. :)

I don't think you mentioned the 2 day gap between purchase and delivery. Or perhaps I just didn't notice because I'm hypnotized by your avatar.

Two days is reasonable that he might have left town. It sounds like the people at the house were not expecting furniture delivery though, weird.

I'm just disappointed that a man of his means is buying self assembly furniture

This is pure hersay, of course, so take it for what it’s worth…

I was talking to a friend of mine that works for a Valley furniture store.

How reliable is your source?

Is he a a close friend or just someone you talk to? Is he a person who would never - ever - lie to you? Or stretch the truth?

(I like to know the source before I decide, "Tempe. We have a problem.")

If it came from a guy I'd be concerned but since his source was clearly female, I think we can take it as golden.;)

I don't know how you stay off the stuff if you're constantly around it. If he's still hanging with friends that routinely smoke in front of him, it won't be long before he joins them if he hasn't already. I don't care if it's pot, heroin, cigarettes, alcohol, chocolate or whatever. It's what we do. Maybe you can find an exception but that's all it will be. One huge exception. Keep in mind I'm mostly talking about people that have already had a major problem with a substance.

I'll remain hopeful because we still don't know what exactly happened here. Maybe it was just house sitting friends thinking they could wipe away the party evidence long before HB returned.

He cant live in a closet so we will just have to hope he puts football over everything else.

HB refers to the kid as Junior on the Twitts.

I am not saying this is relevant in whether or not HB will be caught riding dirty or whatever.

looks like him.

Wait...if Mathieu does get busted again, this story or not, is anyone going to really be all that surprised? Addiction, the kind of addiction that gets a Heisman Trophy candidate kicked out of a football power is something pretty damn serious and likely very difficult to overcome for a sustained period of time.

That was my thought too I hope he stays clean but it won't surprise me at all if he can't. It was a calculated risk, he's a great player, we had a friend and mentor of his on the roster, it was a good risk to take IMO but I won't be at all surprised if he someday fails a test.

Who knows, but I will say this, the kids eyes look EXACTLY like HB's.

Got it. Were I totally unethical I'd send the friend back to the house to say, "We forgot to give you the free $50 gift card to Mike's Medicinals" to further check out the situation.

Which I REALLY hope has an explanation . Like HB had house sitters.

I think eventually (perhaps even sooner than we think) the NFL is going to soften its stance on marijuana, especially now that it is legal in some states.

If Honey Badger...who now wants to be called King Badger, by the way...anyone see his interview on Rome (Showtime) yesterday? Badger was on fire...he was great. And the King part is in honor of LeBron James, of whom Badger is a huge fan.

What strikes me as strange about this info is that if those indeed were Badger's friends---and Badger is trying to stay straight---how stupid and selfish is it of them to smoke weed in his house.

I will tell you this: BA isn't going to kiss anyone's arse. if Badger gets a positive testing---they will trade him or release him asap.

People keep worrying about losing D-Wash. BA isn't losing any sleep over it. BA wants guys who want to win and thus guys whose actions indicate they want to win. Period.

The days of the Arizona Cardinals kissing players' arses are over. Like BA says, the players better put their "big boy pants on."

yea, but...I worry about losing D-Wash; he was a piece that put us "over the top" as a Defense considering the King coming back AND the addition of the Crow in the backfield...just would have be WOW...maybe SB if the O could pitch in???.

yea, the days of tolerance for a teammate who leaves the rest of the team hanging are over. Zero tolerance for that.

If it is indeed HB's house, and was full of people, and pot smoke came billowing out like a mushroom cloud, then I'm extremely disappointed. Everyone knows, and I mean everyone, you have to regularly ventilate the abode within which you smoke your weed.
