A team offers a 2019 1st & 2019 3rd for Peterson, would you take it?

Pretty much my answer is no, but there are some factors that would make me pragmatic about the situation.

Those are pretty much amazingly high picks (top 15), and a combination of him threatening a trade or a holdout.

I do think that this team could have a quick turnaround, depending on coaching decisions, the draft, and who we're able to sign. So, I'd be really reluctant to trade PP21 when the Rams are poised to fall off a cliff, and we have flexibility with Rosen. All that said, the Seahawks looked really good tonight. They might just be better poised to dethrone the Rams in the short term no matter what we do.

The chances that either of those 1st rounders are even half as dominant as Peterson is, isn't very high.

Peterson routinely severely limits a teams best passing target. Say what you will about PFF but they had said the other day that p
Peterson has gone over 60 games without giving up 80 or more yards in coverage. So in like 5 years he hasn't given up a 100 yard receiver. That's phenomenal.

No. He has two years left on his deal and is playing at an extremely high level. Draft choices are a crap shoot.

In a NY second. If he is unhappy this season wait until next year.Even with some improvement do you think that hot dog will be happy playing for a team that likely will probably end up 6-10.

Why no Bosa?
He doesn’t want a dynamic pass rusher to pair with Jones apparently. Nick is actually better and more fundamentally sound than Joey was at the same age.

I think Nick ends up having a better career than Joey and that’s crazy considering Joey is already a top 5 defensive player in the league in barely his third season.

I disagree here, but he’s still really good. I agree with everything else overall.

The only options I would trade Peterson for would be established, quality players.

If we were up against the cap I would consider it, but his contract isn't an issue with all our cap space. I doubt any team would offer what it would take to change my mind. We will start the next two years with an elite CB and Edge Rusher... That's ideal! Now we just have to figure out the rest, cuz it is slightly less than ideal
