Sorry for the rant, but noone here (home) seems to feel my pain!!!

My sorrow begins when my family wants to take a trip on All Star Weekend. No worries, I ReplayTV all the All Star festivities and a Monk episode to boot! All weekend I complain about missing All Star weekend. My son and I majorly bond watching this show. It's the only sports weekend he watches with me. He loves basketball, and we oooh and ahhh all weekend. Then Sunday I see how well the Suns did on all the contests! What a weekend to miss! Now, I am so eager to see the festivities when I get home! First thing I do when we get home is check the Replay unit. Everything looks like it taped!

Tonight, my son and I sit down to watch everything!! You guessed it! Something went wrong with the satellite dish Saturday and Sunday while we were away!! We must have taken a power hit that turned the satellite equipment off! All I recorded was a black screen!! :hulk:

Oh, Monk recorded, and an hour of TNT Inside The NBA on Friday night!

I haven't missed All Star festivities EVER! The one year when Phoenix almost sweeps everything! :( How Ironic!

I searched on the guide and can't find any replays anywhere. :(

I am hating life right now! :(

If I had a copy, I'd send it to you. But I don't.

Where did you go that was more important than watching the Suns kick ass over the weekend :)

My mom bought a cabin in Prescott. It was our first trip up to see it. My 2 boys got to play in the snow. The oldest his second time ever, and the youngest his first ever time playing in snow. That part was worth it. I had fun when I was there.

That being said, I just went to NBA.COM and all but four dunks have links that DON'T work! :hulk: The links to old events work. So I guess next year I can see it! Unless Mike and Joe Mama convince the Suns to come out with a Suns All Star highlights DVD!! ;) That would kinda make sense since no team has swept events like this before. :D

Unfortunately I don't have any real contacts in the Phoenix Suns organization. I'm just a plain old guy who loves watching the team and spending half my life on this message board reading and writing about them. :)

So many smilies!

Yuma, I've got good news for you. I recorded all of all-start saturday night, and the game itself. (Cut out ALL of the commercials, and crappy music fluff.) You'll have to deal with a semi low grade VHS tape though. ;)

PM me and we can figure something out.
