Wait, when did a judge convict him? If a judge says he's guilty she is either already rendering judgement on the case after both sides have presented their evidence, or should be recused from the case.
Judges don't get to willy nilly say someone is guilty. When they get that opportunity in a bench trial, they still have to hear the evidence. In this case, a JURY will decide the guilt of the piece of crap, and the judge will preside over it. Again, if she's said anything that remotely will show her as bias against the defendant, she will be recused.
But I'm guessing $ to donuts no such thing happened. Just like the wild claim of "not a shred of evidence" you are making. Wow. You are aware that Hernandez is still technically innocent, yes? We can think all we want, and all the evidence points at him like crazy, but his guilt hasn't yet been "proven." It likely will be, though.
