Tough to argue with Andre Johnson and Wes Welker picks.

But really Fitz is a much better player, and has lead his team to the Play-offs two years what has AJ done. Good WR, but not a FITZGERALD...!!!

Fitz got screwed...!!! Plain and simple. END OF STORY...!!!!

:hijack:

 I thought this thread was about A-dub being named All Pro.

Edit: Thanks Mitch for attempting to bring it back...

Wilson is my favorite Cardinal.

Hits like a truck; if the officials would let him; made the 20-20 club this year, longest tenured Cardinal, and will be a lifetime Cardinal. To top it all off, the man is HUMBLE!

I can argue Wes Welker. While he had 123 catches which is awesome. He only averaged 11.0 yards per catch (163rd in NFL) and with all of those catches only had 4 TD's. Those #'s IMO are pretty pedestrian. Just as an example Q averaged 12.2 and had 5 TD's in 40 less catches. (no I dont think Q should be on all pro team)

I think Fitz with his his league leading TD's would be far more deserving. JMO.

you mention Welker's average was only 11.0, but Fitz's was only 11.3. Neither of them had great RAC but the fact that Welker was able to get 1348 yards in only 14 games while Fitz put up 1092 in 16 games is probably what got him the honor this year. You just don't get to be an All-Pro when at WR when you get less than 1100 yards and aren't even in the top 15 in yards recieving.

Now that's not to say I wouldn't take Fitz over, well, anyone in the league if I had my choice of WRs, but this year he wasn't deserving of the honor and a guy who broke the league record for receptions and had the second most amount of yards in the league while missing two games is tough to argue against.

oh yeah... and AW is officially my favorite Cardinal of All-Time. Never bitched about a contract, never bad-mouthed the organization, has always bled red, continually gotten better as a player and, well, seeing that single tear roll down his eye with the confetti being dropped behind him while interviewed right after the NFC Title game continues to give me shivers every time i see or think about it. If that isn't the image of THE Arizona Cardinal of all Arizona Cardinals, I don't know what is.

Now go knock Drew Brees out of the game and get us back there AW!

Nice work, AW. You earned it.

Dockett only missed by one vote. Looks like he's finally getting the recognition he deserves, as well.
