Didn't miss much...one amazing performance by Jordin and the rest pretty forgettable. Plus the Lakisha chick butchered Stayin Alive.

I saw Jordin's performance--I thought she was awesome--and I'm a HUGE Barbra Streisand fan (talent, not politics). I can't believe they gave her such a hard time.

That wasn't even her amazing performance...the other one was. That one was good though.

All the rest of the singers were mediocre to terrible, IMO.

agreed - except blake is very original - he has found a way to combine the collective talents of 311 with the fatboys and create a sounds that is transcendant & contemporary in a mid-90s kind of way

I watched a couple of the performances last night for the first time in a long while. Jordan has gotten much better than she was at the beginning of the show, and Blake sucked eggs.

I don't know why everyone is so in love with Blake. I think he is a good performer but he isn't that great a singer. Maybe he should be on Americas got talent.

Thanks! Jordin & Melinda were very good; LaKisha was bad, and I enjoyed Blake's performances. I think he does have a good voice. He picked a couple of really hard songs to do. Simon will never be able to say he's "really bad karaoke" like he always did to Taylor Hicks (which I completely agreed with--I hated Taylor). His rendition of You Should Be Dancing was fun...I can't even imagine taking on that song.

I thought Melinda was really good too. I don't know the songs she sang but the singing was good. And I like blake but it seems that every time I listen to him the notes are off in spots. Thought he did great on the Bon Jovi week.

That was probably one of the worst idol episodes I've seen in a long time. Maybe it was the fact that there weren't any horrible singers up there to make everyone else look better.

I'm more thinking they all just had a hard time with the song selection.

Lakisha... As it should be... Next should be Blake and it will come down to Jordin and Melinda. Melinda should win as she is the most vocally talented, but I have no doubt that Jordin will be by far the biggest and longest lasting star of this group! At only 17, she has decades of HUGE success ahead of her!!

That's my baby right there. Sad to see her go. She had all the talent, but just got lazy at times. I think Blake is horrible.

I think people forget this is a competition to create a marketable star. IMHO Melinda can sing but she is just flat out boring, Jordin is young and seems real nice but not sure how marketable at this point she is. Now Blake as much as some of you dislike him that guy is flat out the most marketable person left in the competition, people would go buy his stuff right now. He can sing and also is so unique and different unlike ANYONE ever from this show, and has given some of the most entertaining performances by far. Unless you can sing like Celine its very boring for some to basically stand there and sing (Melinda). Blake will be the most successful out of all 3 in the long run.

If you had never seen Blake on tv you would just think it was a studio mix. His appeal is live performance. His singing doesn't hold up.
