Wow, I can tell some of you guys don't spend too much time posting on other message boards around the net. You wouldn't have such incredibly thin skin if you did. You wouldn't believe some of the things that are said when nobody knows who you are. In my short time posting here I have find it to be one of the most civil boards anywhere.

This board is funny. Some people can't handle opposition of opinion very well. Recently I expressed an opposing view regarding a post (and not in a rude way) and I got a PM to "**** off, and go **** myself". I thought it was sad, but kinda funny. We all make stupid posts and have opinions that we should expect to be opposed without getting offended. To think all of our personal posts are flawless and above opposition is ignorant.

I was thinking the same thing. Some sports boards aren't affiliated with anything important. My first week on one board , let's just say, having the F bomb dropped on me was the most polite things that happened. I have to be careful when posting on those boards and coming to ones like this. The lines are drawn at two different extremes.

That is due to us not accepting Internet bullies or better yet an edouch-bag!!! You want to talk Cardinal football and be civil there will be no problems. Now P&R gets a little hairy but even there we police our own!! Just isn't tolorated on ASFN...

Nice lil' family here and some of us lose it from time to time but for the most part we play nice...

On a more serious note. Mitch has taken some very classless and over the top critisism as many have already pointed out. Every single person who posts with any frequency has walked on the wild side with a post or thought process.

I was dissapointed to see Mitch stoop to a level that he has never exhibited before and I was very close to pming him. When all is said and done Mitch steps up and shows the class he is known and respected for. I would say my faith was restored but honestly it never went away. You see class is class and the cream does always rise to the top.

If this makes me a Mitchette then I say "Thank You" and I want my Mitchette T-shirt.
