Any word on his status. He doesn't appear to have signed with anyone. Is he done? Maybe a late preseasean signing?

It's old school---but coaches like to put the returning players up in the early depth charts out of loyalty and for the fact that they know the system the best.

At this point it's strictly perfunctory and a formality.

Until the hitting starts, it's all moot anyway.

lol, well, play better than the top two backs and you will.

I wouldnt be surprised if he is cut after whining on twitter.

Not a good move on his part---maybe he wants out and has his eyes on another team?

I am really liking our WRs. Fitz is our slowest WR on the roster, and Arians remarked how well in shape Floyd is as he reports this year. This could become something VERY special this upcoming season, with Smoke and Juron competing for playing time and JJ Nelson lighting up the sidelines on rare occasions to stretch defenses.

Can you say------points on the board???

I am also liking the three prospects that will be competing for the #3 QB on our roster too.
That should be a fun competition to watch this pre-season. Don't count Logan Thomas out just yet-------he has some very good attributes to bring to the game.

Contract years tend to do that to players. The Cards picked up his option but that is really meaningless unless he gets injured. I'm sure he wants an extension and I expect a big, motivated year from him.

Re. the 3rd QB. LT will get every chance to show that he is that guy. But if he doesn't, I wouldn't be surprised to see him not make the final "53". I don't think the team wants to go into the season with their doomsday QB being the equivalent of Ryan Lindly. A guy 'like' Brian Hoyer (and I know it won't be BH) makes more sense.
