Hmmm... still a little shy to confidently say our defense will keep us in this game at least for three quarters, but I'll go out on a limb and make that prediction. Defense looking more and more reliable each week.

Which ARZ offense will show up is the question? It's so disappointing to see our oline get its @ss kicked like it did against SEA. DP and K1 have to be better prepared to deal with pressure on the road again this Sunday.

That's the key match up for me. Our Oline vs. their front seven.
Agree

Oline will dictate how successful the offense can be

They really need to get it together and fix the issues

I said injury situation, not the injury itself. We're entering "Why TF wasn't he just on IR for the season?" territory.

The Cardinals play the Vikings on December 1st and are currently tied for first place in the NFC West. Yes let that sink in for a second. The Cardinals are playing a game in December and are in first place in the NFC West. Wouldn't you want reinforcements should the Cardinals make the playoffs? At the very least Robinson will get a few games of actual NFL experience. There is no substitute for real NFL game experience. Having Robinson going into next season with zero NFL games under his belt would be massively disappointing. I see ZERO reason why the Cardinals shouldn't have designated him for return from IR this season.

correct, regardless of where the team sits in the standings right now this roster is loaded with young talent that needs to be developed. We are still in the "rebuilding stage"

He's eaten up a roster space and he still hasn't played and I have serious doubts he plays next week. Maybe he gets a few games in (and a playoff run would be lovely, but highly unlikely), but I'm feeling more like he gets a handful of snaps in. Not worth it.

Who is he keeping off the roster that would matter? PJ Mustipher? Anthony Goodlow?

Listen I get that it is frustrating that Robinson hasn't seen the field yet, but I would much rather take a chance on him returning this season than throwing some nobody out there as fodder.

Loaded? No. We have some young talent. We still need a lot more talent.

I'd consider that alot of young talent. The time to continue to develop these players is now, next year buy toys in FA to complete roster.

We're in second place in the NFC West. If the season ended today, we'd be out of the playoffs.

I don't think the roster space matters much. Maybe another player could have been designated to return? Whom would that have been? I have no idea. I think this is a tempest in a teapot. Enjoy the exciting season.

Stout… there’s still 7 games left in the season. If he starts getting reps this week that is almost half of what seasons used to be. That experience is well worth it over some bottom of roster guy who likely is a STer who makes no impact. It’s not like he’s kept a really good option off the field.

Yep. The only way I'll be dissatisfied with our season is if we fall apart down the stretch.
And that is possible. This league has so much parity. A lot has to do not only who you play but when your playing them. The Rams and Seattle both looked like dogs a 3-4 weeks ago. What 49 wr team are we going to see?
I will be disappointed if we lose to the Patriots or Panthers and the Panthers are better today that 5 weeks ago. However if that’s the only 2 games we win we end up 8-9. That would be disappointing.
The path to the playoffs. Beat the panthers , Vikings, Seahawks and 49ers. Simple as that.

Honestly, if the medical staff didn’t see a chance for him to play they would have ended his season.

Just keep doubling down. Cool cool cool.

To Break A Tie Within A Division

If, at the end of the regular season, two or more clubs in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined.

The problem is that the tie breaker rules only count "at the end or the Regular season". The season doesn't end today except in your fantasyland version of it. Therefore the Cardinals and the Seahawks are currently tied atop the NFC West with records of 6-5.
