I don't know what "wins and 1-score losses" are supposed to show.

I know that record in one-score games is a good indicator of how volatile the team's season results were and how well you can expect a regression toward the mean (up or down). We were 3-3 in games determined by 7 points or fewer, which doesn't tell us much.

Detroit was 2-5-1 in games decided by a TD or less. Dunno what their over-under is going to be, but 6.5 is a pretty tasty over to me right now.

Exactly.

Kyler Murray's late season nosedive certainly doomed the team.

For a litany of reasons, the Cardinals weren't good at the end of the season.
I am very curious how you feel Josh Allen would fare if you took away Diggs and put him behind the AZ oline? How about Mahomes without Tyreke and behind this Oline (we saw how disastrous he looked vs the Bucs in the Super Bowl w a trash Oline but full complement of weapons)?

Also - Brian Daboll and Andy Reid calling the plays vs Kliffy F N Kingsbury?!?!?

Get a grip dude. Kyler has lots to improve on, but I don’t see any QBs outside of Rodgers and Brady having success if you put them on the Cards down the stretch last year.

Maybe the ceiling on wins if one play went differently? I’m trying to figure that out too.

Yeah. I clicked through on the thread and there's one guy saying it shows "all the games you were in 'til the end", but I don't really know what that means, either. Half the league were between 16-13 games.

I guess it shows the value of a high-end QB -- if you have one, you're gonna be in basically every game. If you don't you're going to have to nail-bite your way through a bunch and get trounced a lot of times. I have no idea.

Why is there so much focus on ”replacement yards?”

Just because a backup may or may not replace all or part of the yards gained or stopped by last year’s starter doesn’t make it an automatic trade-off.

Starters and replacements (and their blockers or sack-producers) aren’t necessarily equal. New guys don’t automatically equal, exceed or fall short of the dude they replace.

So, while scoping out the trade-offs of last year’s guys and this year’s is a fun activity, I’m not sure I’d want to hang my hat on it as an accurate predictor.

Josh Allen doesn't have a great offensive line. I'd take the Cardinals offensive line every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Id also argue Murray has better receivers outside on their #1s too.

Reid and Daboll have consistent QBs too.

Look you can defend Murray all you want, but his own play did the talking. He sucked down the stretch.

Come on guys don't belittle one another. I don't really care if he/she is a dark sider or Kool aid drinker.

The dark side has cookies. Nothing better than cookies and a fruit flavored drink.

Actually his post is spot on. And you need to debate and attack the content not the poster. Unless you want to take a break?
Hahahahaha of course the bias IHKC moderator comes to the defense per the usual w threats. Gotta love this mix on this board

It’s a simple rule… can you follow it?
Excuse me what rule? His CONTENT in my opinion was completely off as it is quite often. It makes me question his perception greatly.. are we that sensitive where that’s offensive????? That is literally insane and says a lot about you and him if you are that upset by that to even threaten a ban. You dark siders sure come to aid for each other aggressively. The few of you that do, do in fact turn off many on this board often. It’s funny because it’s a very small contingency on this board that do this but scream the absolutely loudest.

It’s really quite simple you went off topic and made it personal. I would say the same to Krang and he knows that. Clearly you don’t get it. Enjoy your break….

I am definitely NOT a Darksider.

I'm kind of in the middle. Read what I actually say and not what you want to read into it, and you'll see that:

1. Im a huge Kyler Murray fan.
2. I think he can play better.
3. The Cardinals have some holes right now.
4. There is plenty of time to fix those holes.
5. Keim sucks at drafting.
6. Keim is good at finding value free agents.
7. I would not have extended Keim or Kliff.
8. The Cardinals can win with both, but I have some doubts (especially on Keim).

Simple rule. Debate the topic, not the poster. 1 week ban.

Crazy if you think back on all the games that we were a play, bounce, not a fumble, away from losing and still pulled out the victory. This is what gives me concern because we really did get a lot of breaks last year. But, all the teams in the playoffs are listed there as well so….

Can’t argue with any of this.

There were 3 games that we won be a TD or less.
