This goes with what I mentioned in another comment...that in his 1st game back, they let him just do things more like his old self - when plays/pocket breaks down scramble around and make something happen. In the last 2 games, however, it's easy to see that he's being coached to stay with a play and try to stay in the pocket...and the bulk of his scrambling has been behind the LOS, still looking to pass and not just run for a 1st down.

Of all the things to question or be sick of, cutting Ingram after adding Michael Carter is not one!

I could care less about getting rid of him. A brilliant, wasted pick by this organization he was. It's the clown car way we are conducting business this year that irks me. The majority of this roster you could literally pick a name out of a hat, cut, and it would make zero difference. So you cut Ingram. I'll be sure to wait with baited breath for the Demercado, or Carter breakout game.

Ingram is not an NFL quality backup running back. I think Demarcado and Michael Carter can serve as legitimate backup and third string running backs. It's not game over when you have to play them, like it was with Ingram. Another case for the Cardinal's of addition by subtraction.

Maybe. But asking him to change fundamental mechanics, while coming off an ACL, with a ***** WR room, and in a new offense is a lot to ask of a player Stout.
