We’ve essentially hit playoff mode from this point forward... each game, each inning and each pitch is pressure-packed and filled with implications. It’s an immense test for a team that suffers from a lack of playoff experience and short on top-tier talent.
I mean, we currently have Murphy behind the plate, Marte, Ahmed and Escobar in the infield, Pollack and Souza in the outfield. With nothing on the bench to speak of.
