The Damned Yankees will get him, one way or the other. I don't have to like it.well somebodys a bummer tonight! lol (I agree that will be sad)
Not in there vs. lefties.Did Descalso get hurt? Not in lineup last two games
He wasn't the only one. Corbin striking out three after loading the bases. And Archie putting runners on, then leaving them on.Boxberger making it nerve racking. Good win for sure.

SAN FRANCISCO — Madison Bumgarner tossed six solid innings in his long-awaited season debut but was outpitched by Patrick Corbin as the Arizona Diamondbacks held off San Francisco 3-2 on Tuesday night, ending the Giants’ five-game winning streak.
More than two months after breaking the pinkie on his pitching hand during his final start of spring training, Bumgarner (0-1) allowed two runs and eight hits in his first regular-season outing. San Francisco’s ace left-hander struck out three and didn’t walk a batter.
Corbin (6-2) struck out seven over 6.1 innings, permitting one run and four hits with two walks. The left-hander was staked to an early lead that barely held up for the first-place Diamondbacks.

SAN FRANCISCO — One day after the San Francisco Giants got a boost, even in defeat, from the return of Madison Bumgarner, the Arizona Diamondbacks hope to continue to build upon the positive vibes created by their own comeback story when the clubs wrap up a three-game series Wednesday.
The Diamondbacks will seek to win a series from the Giants for the third time this season when Clay Buchholz goes for his fourth consecutive impressive start since being claimed off the scrap heap.
Arizona got even in the series Tuesday night in a 3-2 win in which the Diamondbacks’ hottest pitcher, Patrick Corbin, needed to be at his best to outduel Bumgarner in his season debut.

SAN FRANCISCO -- The Giants probably don't want to see Patrick Corbin again anytime soon.
The D-backs southpaw tossed 6 1/3 stifling innings in a 3-2 victory Tuesday, about six weeks after dominating his divisional foe in a one-hit shutout. In that April 17 start, Corbin held the Giants hitless until the eighth inning. This time, Corbin retired 11 straight to start the game and didn't let the ball leave the infield until the fourth inning. He gave up four hits and two walks while striking out seven and lowering his ERA to 2.87.
