But they will say, it’s not about the money. It is ALWAYS about the money.Wow - that is so dirty.
Cheap bastards. That's couch seat cushion money for these teams.Wow - that is so dirty.
Yes...he should retire or - return to the DBacks for a swan song farewell tour as DH/1B in 2025. But he really belongs in St. Louis - where old ballplayers go to die under the MO and OliPad regime. St. Louis is a once proud franchise turned to dust by MO Mozeliak as the GM.The Athletic named Paul Goldschmidt as their Least Valuable Player in the NL this season. How did he lose it so quickly at 36? His career high 177 OPS+ 2 years ago shriveled to a career-low 95 this year. Is it time for him to retire?
His slash line this year - .241/.299/.406 for a .705 OPS. About the same that Josh Bell had when Miami waived him.
I paid 300 bucks for my ticket last year. I did hear that tickets in Arlington were very expensive but not sure they were up to that level. MLB got their dream matchup. I haven't watched any of the playoffs this year.Arash Markazi
