Drury with 2 straight down the middle strikes and he lets them go. Then almost swings at a pitch way outside! This is the issue I see the with Dback batters, they let to many easy straight down the middle pitches go by!

Herrmann's 2017 batting average of .163 is even lower than his lifetime average of .199.

I could hit better than he with my Stan Musial stance and I am on Social Security. And, hey, I'm a lefty.

How can any manager with hopes of making the playoffs put a .163 hitter in the starting lineup or use him in key pinch hitting spots?

If Herrmann brought his batting average up 70 points, he'd be hitting .233. That's obscene! He and Bracho should be packaged for a Subway 6" sub. Not a 12" sub, a 6" sub.
