Thanks to Cardinal Bob and his wife for the beer and the Card chat...it was nice to meet you.

On the way out of the stadium...

I was wearing my Cardinal jersey in a sea of Bengals and while trying to get to an exit...the door of the elevator opens and standing 5 feet in front of me is Mr. Bidwill and Michael B.

I give a thumbs up and say Hi Mr. Bidwill...great game.

I get a blank stare from both and the door closes.

I had to laugh.

You should have brought Ice Cream!!!!!

BTW.. That was a good nite.. Had alot of folks there.. AZ21, nidan & wifey, jw7, you, abomb, and azdad and me.. Tim wanted to go but didnt think he would get off early enuff.. They ended up letting him off early and he kept calling my cell complaining he wasnt there and harrassing me with phone calls cuz I was getting pissed at how many times he was calling lol..

Gee is still around,...he still posts on FB on game days...his online presence has diminished greatly this past year though.

That was a crazy post/blast from the past 9 years ago! I remember that situation vividly but as the tag line under my name says...things have changed. Who would have thought 9 years later, this organization would be starting to become a model franchise in every way (starts with Michael, SK, BA, the stadium, all the way to the fans).

This is not your father's Cardinal's (same goes for Michael). He has changed the organization into something to be proud of and to be passed down to our children with hope and pride for the first time I can remember.

The last obstacle for this franchise's quest for legitimacy is the Lombardi Trophy.
